When I was 8 I dreamed of The Son of God. Yeshua or as you call him Jesus. He talked to me and told me one day I will help someone. The background was beautiful though. It was s peaceful dream.

I used to have a reoccurring dream that really worried me. I dreamed of a very large Black tsunami heading for the Oregon coast line , where I was in a open top jeep driving as fast as possible to avoid being overcome by it. I realized this was telling me that I felt overwhelmed by the stresses in my life. Ones I realized this was its meaning, the dreams stopped and boy I was glad they did too. mamaTie

I remember most all of my dreams. I remember color, content, places all in great detail.
My seven year old son had a dream about a massive flood a few weeks ago, he said lots of people died, we survived but we couldn't go back home, He said everything was gone and it was like the end of the world. He also said when we were walking to our new home he was looking at the water and seen a mermaid lol. The dream has bothered him a lot and I think he's had it again, he keeps waking me through the night and asking to sleep with me, I ask if he wants to talk about it but he gets all quite and says no 😔

Why do most of my dreams take me to my old family house I grew up in? Or even my grandmothers house? The setting of my dreams are rarely in the house I am living now. Its just the setting, every character or story line changes. I keep on meeting so many pêople of my past and present recently. Like a mix of the old and the new. Yes also meeting different versions of the people I know. The other day I had a lucid dream, and met two of my friends. I knew they were obviously not my friends, so I asked them ," are you part of my imagination like this world is?" One of them thought for a second and said, "Hmmm I am not your imagination, nor am I your subconcious mind, we are watchers right now." And then I walked with them through old cinema hall. I asked how I could come back to this lucid world, they began to tell me but things went blurry and I woke up.

I dreamt that I fell into the ocean and tried to reach out to the light but I just can't. I accepted my fate that it could be my final moment ,i closed my eyes and not breathe (i actually thought it was for real) but then someone pull me out and I woke up. I dream every single night. Death is a constant theme , sometimes running and water is always near. I've never had dreams of the others you mentioned. Yet, i dream every time i sleep. It is rare when i do not dream. They are always vivid and intense, they seem very real.

Has anyone else had recurring dream locations? For example, every so often I will have a dream/nightmare in the same dreamscape, my old childhood neighborhood. While I'm familiar with the entire area around that street, I only ever enter at a certain point, and anything beyond that point fades to nothing. Very strange. My dreams there are nightmares 95% of the time.

Kerry-lee Taylor Yeah that's pretty weird. It reminds me of that same dream place I originally mentioned. I would enter that location, and immediately feel like some hostile presence was watching me. I'd sneak my way to my old house, which is always dark and scary with shadows or the presence of people who aren't supposed to be there.
I remember going there to hide from that hostile presence outside, only to find that the inside was no better.

I have a re-occurring dream about people (usually in the form of young delinquents) seemingly trying to get into my home or car and I'm fighting them as hard and savage as I'm capable of, however no matter how hard i fight they never seem to die/stop. I had a dream of another world and it was beautiful. I do not remember all of the dream, but I do remember chilling in a large pool in the night. A human like person was in front of me, young for sure, with a glowing insignia on their forehead. Their skin was a really light blue. I remember I kept swimming underwater trying to use my hands to basically make these odd seaweed like plants (although they were much more thick, like green octopus legs) and the young human like person kept trying to help me make them grow. anyone else dream something similar?

I understand the symbolism of many of these subjects but I don't feel that dreaming as a whole should be pushed aside as nothing more than symbolic theories. I have more than one example of what I'm about to write that has happened to me, I dreamed of my grandmother looking and pointing upwards standing behind a factory gate, the factory had no connection with our family though it was a real place just a fifteen minute walk from where I lived, I had tied a rope to an apple tree across the road and was trying to swing over the gate but my gran just kept smiling and pointing upwards, as I got more frustrated that I couldn't reach her. I woke bolt upright, it was 3.15 am and I just knew she'd passed, some time later the phone rang, we were told she'd died at 3.15 am. This was not the last time this type of dream happened. I also dreamt vividly of what had been previously standing on the land my grandparents lived on which neither I or they had known about at that time. I would even sleep walk out into the garden observing this orchard, it was when I reached my teens I found out the houses on the road had been built on top of an orchard in the 30s I was seeing this in the 70's
I've had dreams of running from a huge monster and everytime it would catch up to me, I'd hit and punch it with everything I have and wouldn't be able to hurt it. plus it would never harm me back? just continue to chase me or follow me. strange!

First, more studies have been done on phases of sleep. And it has been researched that we dream the entire time we are sleeping. Its not like we can shut off our thoughts. Second, symbols can have different representation to individuals. I tend to go by the feeling or emotion during the dream, not just the symbol. I have had all of these dreams throughout my life....I look forward to further studies
In the Philippines, dreaming of all of our teeth falling is a premonition of death of a relative or love one. I had proven this to be true.

I had a dream wherein i'm in a sort of close temple, I'm finding my way out, Onced I found it, I found a girl on a nippa hut, in a night time, crying and eating an oreo, I ask her what's wrong then my dream ended. That dream has another part wherein I am in the same temple and i'm with my friend, when I ask her whatsoever, she knows everything about it, the temple, ltrlly everything.
I still had more dreams like, going into neon green/ black spaceship, floating clouds in my room I can hop on, Zombies that looks like the zombies in the game Zombie rush chasing me in my school and no one noticing, being naked in my school/public. A fam member dying cuz of a food.

I've had a recurring dream since I was 6/7.. it's always the exact same and I have it about 3-4 times a year; it's always my mum and little sister getting crushed to death while I'm watching but can't even move to help them... everything is dark but I can see piercing red eyes and demon-like silhouette in the corner of the dark room... all this is happening while my mum and sister are screaming and crying out for my help... what gets even weirder is that I told my older sister this and (you're not going to believe how creepy this is).. she has a similar recurring dream where my mum is dragged into a dark room but you can see piercing red eyes....... AND (this is the creepy part..) she said hers started when she was 13/14... and there are 7 years between us..so when I was 6/7 which is also when mine started 😶 so basically we have the same type of dream and it started the same time roughly 😳👹

I have had the being chased dream a lot. It wasn’t that I couldn’t move, but what was chasing me was so bizarre, yet recognizable that any dream that I could have would represent something that scares me. And if I know myself, the wave that chases and sucks me under, is a full blown tsunami overcoming and crushing me under the weight of all that water. Sometimes dreams of flying can actually be terrorized because the reason I am flying is because a tornado has picked me up.
I dream about getting chased and can't move quickly, a house burning down a lot and I once dreamt about falling asleep and not being able to complete an exam.

Effie Henry I had similar dreams where I was running with a plastic grocery bag streached out in front of me with my arms extended and I was jumping over whole city blocks and landing accurately using the wind and power from jumping and when I was starting to lose altitude I would just use the plastic bag like a parachute.

Guys, while watching this video i felt as if someone was with me though i was alone i raised my arm in a position like I was holding a hand and as i did that i felt a caress on my hand and shuddering it went up my hand was raising without me moving it i am so scared in my mind i promised to make a difference in the world and to stop killing it and i had a rash on my neck and its getting smaller and smaller i am so. I dreamt I was standing on top of a building with other people, a person shouted "It's coming" all ran and hid. I looked over the ledge and saw hundreds of scorpions (size of car) with human faces crawling up the tower. I was about to run down with everyone else until I saw a child crying scared & helpless in a corner. I screamed out to the child but he couldn't hear me. So I picked up a weapon, it was a fishing hook with a keychain attached to it. I stood over the child and fought the creatures with all my might, one by one (looks can be deceiving.. they were weaker than I thought). Suddenly there was a loss of gravity, I levitate into the sky (felt real). The clouds looked like snow (without the coldest) and the sun shined harder than ever before, so beautiful and peaceful. "I was speechless to see a priceless sight."

I once had a dream about a friend or rather associate who died our committed suicide I was told, in the dream he visited me & sat on my bedside as it doubled as a couch or chair back then. He never said much or spoke sorta like when I first met him in the studio, when another member of my loose rap music invited him, his cousin on a posse cut song entitled " passion". In the dream we never spoked but we were playing FIFA soccer on a Nintendo Gamecube, a fact I found odd since I never owned a Gamecube nor FIFA for that matter, I had a Ps2 granturismo 3, medal of honor 2 & a multitap, it was our golden eye , so to speak & all I did was make music & play video games all day with my friends & recreational activity thrown in when my girlfriend visit. Why the gamecube then & why the visit, since we only met once or twice & never spoke much. I thought of his musical ability highly & was very happy that it enhanced the musical skill level of our rap division to equivalent if not better, than the current commercial overseas acts. In his presence felt at peace with his non toxic energy, I secretly had big plans for us, him being an American deporte also meant to me, he has arms or links to for demos be out friends who can distribute for us, I was told that he committed suicide because the calls & remittance stopped & as a child who grew up in America had no experience here other than a Bobbo dread or Rasta father telling him to sell brooms, hard to accept for a person used to the baller life, he was also an Artist I learned at the nigh night like Picasso type drawing skill, true at if u ask me cause music quite easy & basic talent that literally anyone could do it, I thought, but he was an artist ?, I was like whoa, could've done the album covers & we could tour rest of the world if not America.
After he died I found out why, his cousin wanted us to do a tribute song for him & sing at his memorial/ nigh night. upon entering the home studio, it was big house or mansion really, I walked pass a room & noticed the fellas in it were playing a Gamecube & FIFA at that, I then remembered the dream, that happened before he died, not sure how long before & told a friend. Their was also a distortion or a glitch in the beat that wasn't present in the prerecorded instrumental & try as he might, the engineer couldn't explain it or take it out. This never happened in any of the other songs we did their. The glitch however removed itself after, the final (i think) wind sounding woosh sound in the beat, which I like to think of it being his presence or ghost in the track. I guess, I should've reached out to him, invite him to my block make some songs chill party whatever, but I took it for granted that he would be around forever & he was fine chilling with my band mate his cousin, Who naturally had the most emotional verse on the tribute song, as an observer I blamed the Bush foreign policies for deporting ppl who spent 90% of their lives in America & are products of their culture to countries where they have no ties except origin. I also blamed the local govt for having a landscape so hopeless, suicide seems like a better option than to try to make it here in Jamaica. This morning I had dream of a woman and she begged me to safe her child because it was being possessed. Some how I start chanting words I don't even know, then I was teleported to the air where I saw a big charcoal looking dragon that spate out blue flames? 🤔 some weird dream!!

I did have had a dream my teeth where flying out of my mouth. I have dreamed of flying high, and also dreamed of my dad, sister and I flying on unicorns in the clouds. I have had many dreams on buildings and homes near the water, there has been a tree with a swing near a pond, I love this one. I have had dreams of mountains and the rock formations change, being I want to go to Yosemite again.
my dream last night was wierd. I dreamed that my family was either house sitting or given a beautiful house. the house had a outdoor movie theater, a travel bus, a small splash park, and a good sized kitchen. in the house were the owners and my family. the splash pad looked sandy. like it hadn't been used in a while. that's all I really remember from it but I'm sure there was more to it.
I have had a number of flying dreams thru the years, some low to the terrain (dodging wires etc) some soaring, always had the feeling I was flying to somewhere or place, and not away from any particular thing. also had the same falling dream, (off a bridge into the river) quite a drop, woke up just before hitting the water time and again. finally the last time that dream occurred while falling, I could feel myself waking up and I quess "willed" myself back to sleep and hit the water. when I came to the surface I was surrounded by 4 of my cousins, and one of them swam over and asked why I took so long? sorta weird. I had a death dream some years back, not mine but my dad was in it, who had passed some 20 years previous, from a long illness, and died a shell of his "healthy" self, any way as dreams go, we are walking down the beach at a small lake, and dad is looking healthy, and he says son I have to talk to you. So I tell him ok, and that he is looking really good, and I said you know dad I am now older than you are and you have been gone along time, He says he knows but He needed to talk to me. so once again as dreams go, a small "shack is just up the beach ahead of us so we walk into it, and there is nothing in it but a small table and 2 chairs, in the room with 1 window over looking the lake. so dad and I sit down, and I do not remember one thing from that point on, absolutely zero. But when I woke up that morning, there was such a sense of peace, I couldn't then nor can't now explain the feeling. now that was pretty awesome, will remember that till the day I pass.
I had a dream years ago now that came into play. I dreamt of a foundation surrounded by trash and debris that upon exploring the perimeter turned into a house (Like it had be covered in a invisibility cloak). There were three (specific) people who were outside the now revealed house who started poking around inside. The house went from sturdy to rugged as if someone sucked the life out of the wood making it look brittle and termite eaten. I usual remember most dreams but once I remember dreams with vivid accuracy I know it has real life significance.
Worst dream/nightmare I ever had was when I was riding in the car with my boyfriend and he was driving really fast and we drove off a bridge and before we plunged in the water, I woke up completely drenched in sweat and it took me like 10 mins to recover from it. I felt the barometric pressure of falling and all.
