- 2. Juli 2020 - im Schwarzwald regnet es noch immer. Die Abfahrt wurde daher um eine Stunde verschoben. Eine weise Entscheidung von Ralf, denn ein paar Kilometer weiter wurden die Strassen trocken und die Sonne kam raus. Eine tagesfüllende Tour quer durch den Schwarzwald konnte beginnen. Wenn ich mir das Rohmaterial so anschaue, kam nur die Bewirtung unterwegs aufgrund der vielen geschlossenen Restaurants etwas zu kurz. Wir nennen das Biotuning - weniger Körpergewicht optimiert die Leistung der Maschinen.

Eins ist aber echt auffällig - die "kleine" GS sieht hier im Vergleich zu euren K1600-Schiffen echt mickrig aus, ist aber dafür deutlich wendiger ...

Vielen Dank, deswegen hat die Truppe im Laufe des JAhres 2020 auch fast komplett auf GS/GSA und RT gewechselt.
@@sirarthurbmw1841 Wow, das überrascht mich ein wenig, denn ich finde die K1600 ist echt geil aber halt nicht für jeden Zweck. Als ich vorhin "Schiffe" schrieb habe ich es nicht abwertend gemeint.

Die Mehrzahl der Leute hätte eine bj 2012 bis 2015 und hat dann reihenweise auf die euro4 Variante gewechselt. Dabei nicht berücksichtigt dass diese wesentlich weniger Leistung hat was bmw anhand eigener Prüfung nicht weg diskutieren könnte. Da keine Änderung in Sicht fahren wir grad alle den aktuellen Boxer von Ausnahmen abgesehen. Ansonsten - immer noch ein Traummoped

In a couple of weeks I'll be posting the October videos from Italy. Then there are more RTs (including mine).
Regarding the continued existence of the K1600, BMW announced a few days ago that the K1600 should be presented at the end of 2021. I'm thinking of the same or similar cockpit as the new RT and maybe a similar front unit at the front. I will miss the angel eyes though. And I don't even think about the price. We bet on over 30,000 euros

Really? I haven't heard nothing about a refreshed K and no wording about that when browsing the internet.
What about the engine, do you know if it's almost the same or something completely new?
Yes, the price will be something forbidden for sure for the common citizen....
Not sure if the K worth the major price comparing with the RT, because, at the end of the day, they are pretty similar (aren't they?) and the big difference is much more related with speed and we need to keep the driving license with us in our pocket!! :):):):):)
That was the last information here in Germany. We will certainly take a closer look at that. I just can't imagine that the K1600 will then even come close to driving performance in the Euro5 standard as the old K16. But maybe the first electric machine will come onto the market.

The Euro 5 update for the six-cylinder will come.
Nevertheless, BMW wants to stick to the six-cylinder engine in the future:
"There will definitely be a Euro 5 update.
We will not discontinue the six-cylinder.

@@sirarthurbmw1841 Thanks for sharing. Yes, surely it's something still under the secret of the Gods. What the hell has BMW in mind to apply as engine, once changes have to be done there??? And in terms of reliability..?! Let's wait to see the final result.
