I have put together shmuparch version 4 for just this reason, it's already all done for all the popular shmups and many of the lesser played ones (and the default settings should cover most unconfigured games). drive.google.com/open?id=1tgSXvLKaTu1Wh0UYU100fT6O8YoMwYQl
I had a problem with the games running at half speed. This got rid of the problem. I think that it might occasionally be less than 60 FPS, but it is close enough. Following these setting under windows 10 (using a 2017 iMac), I ran into a problem in that it would not display full screen. I had to turn on windowed full screen.
Mark's using the xmb menu. In retroarch's main menu, settings-> drivers->menu->xmb. Go back to retroarch's main menu and select quit retroarch, so it saves.
Does anyone know how you can change value settings in the menu faster? Lets say I want to change the video frequency from 60Hz to 50Hz, it takes forever because the value is changed in 1/1000 increments and that's extremely slowly. I didn't find any way to change the value faster or enter 50Hz directly.
I like the theory, but when I made this video my channel was not monetized ha. This is one of my earlier vids, I was still working on how to explain this whole complicated system.
This explanation was super helpful. Got my SNES emulator set up from lagging a lot to running perfectly smooth now. Awesome! Thank you so much
I know I’m late to the game here but Thank You So Much for making this video! Doing the lords work 🎃
Por que o está em 1.000Hz ?
do you have any suggestions on what video filters to use ? im playing on a monitor.
I have lag on my 4k TV as if I was dropping frames on all games. What should I do in my raspberry picture 4?
Can you do vids on optimal setting for more games? It'd be very appreciated.

Why does my retro arch look differently than yours

Just edit the config file manually and type the value in. To find the relevant value quickly, just do a search for the current setting.
Going around just to prolong the video.
