Tanks man, I saw all these people on different guides and users, I saw a vid on how to do it for 3DS and the guy installed it and said "thats the good gui to" refering to XMB but I installed it and had RGUI wondering what I did wrong, and my pc version had an older version to, now i changed it and it looks way better, thanks

Touch control on XMB is almost unusable, you should have mentioned this in the video. It can be frustrating trying to reset these settings afterwards with touch controls.
I mean you are probably not going to play most games with the touch screen anyways depending on the device. Some people may just like the navigation of XMB instead of the older menus. To each their own. Not hard to revert back either.

I've already been using xmb what I want is a decent dynamic wallpaper set thats already properly named to change background as I change platform playlist
How do you change between different XMB themes? I mean I see in retroarch assets xmb directory subdirectories dot-art, flatui, neoactive, monochrome, pixel etc - but nowhere can I change the icons and stuff to look like those. Where can I do that?
hey have a question, i downloaded and have used this program and love it but, but for some reason my keyboard and mouse dont work right anymore, like can only move left and right in the menu and when i click i have to click a certain way otherwise it take me back to the original tab is there a way to reset the to original settings?? ive even uninstalled and reinstalled and the setting are still the same any idea on how i fix it??? pls i would really appreciate anything you can help with

Hello can someone please help me? When i play some GBA games on retroarch the horizontal jumping direction does not work. Like flinstones or so...you walk and hit the jump button and he only jumps vertically. Any idea? Thank you in advance.
Is it possible to transfer (in game) saves from retro pi to android? I have a PSX game I've been playing on the Retro Pi and want to add the file to play via ePSXe on my android tablet. I have gone into the PSX folder located the .sav file on the Pi and copied this across to the PC then into the PSX folder on my tablet with the ROM. When I launch ePSXe it launches the game but has no save present?
@@ETAPRIME I know you can get it on the Switch release or at least you could about a month ago. Not sure about other releases though or if they have removed it.

It's still got a few screws loose on Windows (specifically under any of the DirectX video drivers; looks just fine in GL), but nearly every platform has it in their latest stable build. Even the Pi's latest Lakka release boasts about it (caveat: the ozone performance on a RaspPi, even overclocked, is bad. Whole GUI operates at maybe 25FPS, so it's not quite ready yet).
@@ETAPRIME Update: RetroArch 1.7.6 is available in the main stable branch as of just hours ago. Ozone has been officially introduced as a new feature in the changelog. They even fixed the aforementioned scissoring issue (where the text didn't tuck under UI elements like it was supposed to) for all of Windows' D3D video drivers. Edit: Spoke a little too soon. Changelog is available, but according to their Twitter, it'll be here at the "tail end of the weekend."
ETA can you do a tutorial on changing the android TV launcher on the Nvidia shield to some other launcher that let's you have full Google playstore access. Or better yet just having full access on the android TV would be fine too.
Interesting I have seen never Retroarch videos with people using the ols themes. I didn't use Retroarch until after what we have now was implemented so I have never tried the old but wondered why and how some was using the old.
same question i have and i can answer this question because i have a wii with this installed and no. no you cannot. you go to driver settings, rgui and null is the only options there.
Yeh I'm pretty sure my WiiU uses the old Retroarch. I havn't explored updating it but thought it was just the one that WiiU used but yeh b cool to have the newer one on there if I can.
I prefer the older version because the new one is too small and very glitchy on my LG8 for some reason - it delays at times, it freezing in the main selection row and randomly moves to search where I can't get back to the home screen without restart. I've reinstalled the app numerous times with the exact same results.

Exactly why it's default on configurations. Touch issues. Xmb is never default from what I've seen on all my devices.
@@somemadcaaant On dedicated Android tv unites xmb is default. Any Android device that doesn't have touch support is set to xmb by default.

Totally hate the XMB setting. Took me a minute to navigate to get out of this and switch back to "Ozone" menu driver.

PSA: There's a new(ish) menu driver available as of 1.7.5 called Ozone. It's neat.

The glui is much better for smaller touch screen such as my Oneplus 6.
