  • Learn how to Tuck Press to Handstand. One of my favourite handstand entries is using the Tuck both as a stand alone skill or as part of the progressions towards the Tuck Planche Press and Stalder. In this video I show warm up, positions, eccentrics, partial range and the full movement.

    This past month all of your videos were as if I were taking PT lessons because It really focuses on my level. I live in a country where I can't really afford this kind of dense, to-the-point information of this quality in a focused manner in such a short time. So I sincerely THANK YOU so much for making these open source. I don't know if I am the right demographic for the channel so my feedback may not be of value but I just want to express how valuable this is for me. You have a real impact on my life.

      Thank you 🙏 that is perfect! My aim is to help everyone, I get so much joy from this style of training and also the video creation is a hobby. So to read your message and hear that I am making a difference to someone is awesome. The hardest part of this training is for the individual to take ownership and do the consistent practice. Keep in touch and let me know how you go. Thanks again for the lovely message

    Thank you. I'm going to work on this one. I think if I can do multiple reps of it it in a row will really help my planche!

      Yes definitely. Also try the l sit to Planche if haven’t. It’s in my latest video

      @@PaulTwyman Thanks. I'll check that video out! I like doing the tuck planche press from a tucked L sit up into a handstand. It really hits all the shoulder angles. The only problem is I can only do 1 lol

    Great!! I'm working on this coz I'm still need to get my knees together and lifting the legs together at the same time. And from the tuck planche I can't seem to get my but up it feels super heavy 😅 u r just floating like it's not a big deal!

    Hello Paul. I was wondering if you could do follow along drills to get front lever. I know you have done this before but was wondering if you could do them on dip bars. If not that's ok. Btw, I haven't gotten my first handstand yet. I'm going to practice them from now on😆

    • @PaulTwyman
      @PaulTwyman  3 роки тому +1

      Yes definitely want to do some Front Lever videos. It depends what P Bars you have. If it’s the ones like mine (yellow ones) it’s possible. See this video at 5min 30s ua-cam.com/video/xmCwlJeCPeE/v-deo.html

    You are so good..
    I have a question,
    Do you think i need to be in a minimum weight to success with that. Mine is 74 kg. and my tall is 174 cm.
    Thanks, Ori

    • @PaulTwyman
      @PaulTwyman  3 роки тому +2

      Thank you, no your weight is fine. I’m 170cm and 80kg. It just learning and conditioning of putting all the weight into the hands and shoulders so the legs feel light

    My problem is coming back .I can't control the movement while coming back

    • @PaulTwyman
      @PaulTwyman  2 роки тому

      Yeah it can be tricky to keep balance as you lower. Assist yourself slightly with the wall or work specifically eccentric HSPU and or eccentric press
