@@jonathansayah9506 People have noted that Dick's portrayal & origin story shares similarities with Jason's, so maybe having Bruce meet Dick in the Monarch Theatre is a by-product of that (potential) decision on the devs' part.
Honestly this is what the Arkham series desperately needs. You know, still make games about Bruce Wayne, but make other games as well about the other members of the Bat-Family. Essentially they’re full games of the story modes in Arkham Knight. Some do not understand that Dick Grayson as a character is as interesting as Bruce Wayne is as a character. All of them are.
The suspense is increasing more and more, this game that makes us live the life of Batman, is to leave even more suspense. I imagine what all the Batman games from the Arkham series would be like in VR 🤔
Being on the receiving end of Batman’s scare tactics in SS: KTJL & the end of Arkham Knight is also super suspenseful. Those criminals rightfully be freaked out!

@BurgerSoup we even need the long halloween as those events were teased in arkham knight too. I feel like it'll will give us the story of how harvey evemtually descends into being a fully fledged criminal.
@. it is an actual story. the Multiplayer takes place 3 years after Origins and they had to deal with Bane and Joker gang. Arkham Shadow is 6 months after Origins so it fits the timeline.
Batman Arkham Shadow is a huge step forward for Arkham fans and shows us just how much is still possible from the Arkham universe and for Batman games as a whole. A beloved universe us gamers thought to be dead revived once again. I hope for a future with this company making more origins like games but maybe on console next? Fingers crossed!
Well, I never expected a post-credits scene with Bruce and Dick meeting for the first time. Hopefully if the developers make another sequel to Arkham Shadow, they might revolve it around Batman mentoring Dick Grayson who becomes Robin.
At first I was kinda iffy about the way they put Dick into this game but after this and after I've seen how much more they fleshed out the way he's integrated I like it a lot more.
Since Origins, I'd been curious about how Arkham Robin came to be. One origin story I thought of is a teenage Grayson initially becoming Robin by himself, making mistakes and bad decisions along the way like a guideless grieving boy would till Batman intervened. I also imagined some conflict bet. the two at first, with Grayson blaming Batman for his inaction, so trust has to be built. I'm not too sure about Grayson becoming a Rat, but I'm glad we get a good ending from this. I'd love to see more of Grayson in a followup.
I think the scene with Bruce and Dick is very well executed and emotionally resonates immensely but I really do not care for the depiction of Dick Grayson as part of the Rat King's cult. It just feels like they're giving him elements of Jason Todd's criminal background which is very unnecessary. It's not a bad depiction but I don't care for it.
@@kwayneboy1524 That is EXACTLY why I don't like it. It's too similar to Jason's origin and it takes away part of their uniqueness. The Arkham games have a HUGE problem of mixing different elements of the Robins. Tim Drake in the games was just Dick Grayson and had nothing that made him similar to the comic book Tim Drake. With Arkham Shadow Dick is now more like Jason and Jason in Arkham Knight, well... actually he just kinda sucked.
The fact that he meets him at Monarch Theatre, in Crime Alley, like he possibly did Jason too in this canon also only adds to the sameness for me and not in a poetic parallel fashion way either. His whole portrayal here feels like an attempt at grounding Dick as someone who'd come to help Batman by making more like Jason. The Arkham series' Robin do indeed feel like they all merge into one with little making them distinct other than names, even character model wise (if I was told this was a young Jason, I wouldn't totally doubt it) except with Tim and his "gets into cage matches on the side" buzzcut.
I think that it was definitely a different decision but not a bad one making similar to Jason. We know that Dick ends up becoming a successful vigilante and partner to Batman. So maybe with Batman’s new found confidence with this kind of scenario and situation he thought he could really help Jason. However, we know how that ended. And I think that idea of Batman thought he found something that worked but failed makes the Jason situation hit harder for viewer but also for him.
To be fair, Dick wasn’t actually a criminal, he was essentially indoctrinated into a cult right after losing his parents, and only really committed any crimes the day of the riots, unlike Jason who chose to be a criminal due to his circumstances, and wasn’t manipulated, committing numerous petty crimes and amounting a record

He's clearly been hardened and through some rough times, yet a bit desperate for Bats to see it his way in the dialogue before the interrogation.
