I used to eat the other version of sweet bean that was put in a ball made from batter. It was like a pancake batter. Anyone who has never had sweet bean, it's like eating a bowl of sugar drenched in honey! It's that super sweet. I couldn't tolerate it, so I ate the pancake mostly. 😅😅😊
@lemuret69 I never had the fish shaped one, but it's similar. It's Dorayaki balls. There was a store on the corner of my street. They had a giant round griddle with a lot of half circles. You fill it, then put bean paste, then add more batter, put the top piece, and flip. The metal pan mold is similar to the one for octopus balls. It's also called Azuki bean pancakes. If you look up Dorayaki balls, you will see how they are made. They are small and taste like they're made from pancake mix. I don't know if it is regional, but I had it when i lived in Kyushu. Great, now I want some. Damn I miss Japan on days like this. 💔😪😕
Filling by hand ? I'm amazed that no machines satisfy the requirement to inject red bean paste into buns. Even the packaging seems unnecessarily manual... Or is the throughput insufficient to justify the capital expenditure ?
I love this channel, I really do. BUT so often when I’m watching all I can think “that is so much unnecessary plastic” which ends up flying around, and polluting waterways. 😢

Because the stores order them in groups of ten. Deliver what the company orders. The delivery cost is a sunk cost to the ordering company, not the maker.
Don’t Japanese people have a sweet tooth? This kind of filling seems too old and antiquated. Why don’t Japanese people switch to chocolate filled buns, or whipped cream, or sweet fruit filling. Isn’t it time for a change? It’s not the 19th century anymore. Its 2024. Great video. Thanks.
Quy trình làm bánh đậu đỏ. Một tiệm bánh Nhật Bản. Đầu tiên phát minh OK 🇯🇵👍.
Người Nhật..🇯🇵 Làm ăn vệ sinh an toàn thực phẩm tuyệt đối. Máy móc hiện đại hi 🇯🇵👋.
Not the first option of many, but the red bean's sweetness felt really light and relax compare to another snacks

Are you thinking of taiyaki, shaped like fish? When freshly made, those are lovely to eat on a cold winter's day.

Merci pour la vidéo
Bonne semaine
Yummy !
i am from MORCCO i want to visit JAPAN
You can get anpan here, but they are mostly from Taiwanese or Korean bakeries, so they don't taste quite the same.
Video was good as usual. But the background music was really unsettling.
Good 👍
Anpan 🤤🤤🤤

Interesting video, but I had to mute the video because of the bad whistling music. These videos don’t need music at all.

You can find plenty of those, too.
@@lemuret69 - I know I’ve been all over Japan. It’s a great country with amazing food.
But at first, do you touch the dough with your bare hands? No matter how much you bake it, it's a bit
using clear plastic gloves
