We recently visited Universal Studios Orlando and I decided to try out the test seat on rides I havent ridden in YEARS and I was shocked to find out I FIT! Congrats! I am also on a weight loss mission. I started at 400 lbs. I am now down to almost 300. I have a roller coaster I love called Impulse and I have never been able to ride it. I fail the test seat every year when I go. Its one of those gut restraints for upside down coasters and I have always been afraid it would either dig into my lower gut or I would risk falling out which I know is a dumb thought but still.... So dont ride it. But one of these summers lol I am going to get it.

I'm on a weight lost journey as well, with a huge motivation being a Universal trip coming in November. I started (January 1st) 359 lb. I'm currently (308 lb) my goal weight before the trip is 220lb. But I feel like i'm about 60-70lbs from being able to fit everything.

Congratulations! I love your channel and these types of updates. I struggle with weight and LOVE thrill rides. We even updated our vacation plans this year to do Disney vs other parks, partially based upon your vodeos and the fact that their rides are more forgiving. (I am not at my target weight for things like Irons Gwazi and similar extreme rides.)
I know the excitement that I have when I hit a milestone and can ride certain rides. As such, I am so happy for you!!!

Iron gwazi and Velocicoaster made me lose 175 pounds. I wanted to ride them so bad that I actually lost the weight. I have gained like 50 lb back and I need to lose weight again, because I had be moved to the double buckle seat on Hulk my last trip to universal. Doing the truffle shuffle from the seat is embarrassing.
Congratulations though on your weight loss. I know how easy it is to fluctuate. I am a food addict, and being addicted to something that you need to survive kind of sucks.

Over 2023 I went from 390 to 325 in preparation for a Universal trip back in November, and I still wasn't able to ride on most things which really bummed me out. I fell off the wagon for a little while because of it, but I've been trying to stay on the right track recently. Keep up the hard work man, I love seeing you be so open about everything!

I am 53 weeks into the same journey. Take photos weekly so that when the loss starts to slow down and you become disheartened you can look back to see how far you have come as a reminder to stay the course. When we were at Universal in October it was the first time I was able to ride the coasters and I shed actual tears. Velocicoaster is the BEST EVER!

@Themepark Express I lost over 60 lbs doing the slimfast diat I can now fit on eltoro with ease with vere little trouble I got the most airtime I ever got on it I was not prepared for it It been 5 years since I been on it I cried after the ride with a proud feeling of accomplishment and people were looking at me funny

Congratulations! So happy for you! (Missing out on rides is one of my motivators too so I'm drawing inspiration from you, too. Missing out on the Tron bikes, Velocicoaster, etc. got me REALLY down!) My pharmacist advised me to wait till I had both of the lowest doses of Wegovy before I started it, and I get the second one tomorrow. So...starting this week!

I just wanted to say thank you for being so open about your journey. I am about to start this journey - I was just prescribed a similar medication and my doctor warned me it might make me nauseous and there is a possibility of constipation. Anyways you’ve helped me to plan ahead for what day I might take this medicine because I’m a teacher and I don’t want to feel icky while teaching 😂 I’m a big Harry Potter fan and I’ve never been able to fit on the Harry Potter rides so I’m hoping to be able to do that. You testing seats is so helpful! Thanks for all you do!
