My wife and I are getting a silken wind hound in a few months! I’m hearing a lot of contradictory stuff regarding silkens off leash. Some people say they’re great off leash and don’t want to stray too far from you, and others say you must never let them off leash due their “high prey drive”. Do you have any thoughts on this? Is this a “depends on the dog” type of thing? Thanks!
just wondering, is lazuli off leash trained? or only in fenced in areas? i didn’t know silken windhounds could be offleash because of prey drive. follow up question, is their prey drive as strong as, say, a borzoi? wondering for cats lol.
