If you forget to water carrii the roots can get bery dry then a normal watering can cause root rot. Not just over watering. Its always a guessing game for me too
@@devinsonam ugh. . . I wish you said it was fussy and you hated it. @@cathy2142 Thanks! I was scared a little of getting it because I thought I didn't have enough light for it, but it's doing well and growing tall! They don't really require much work for being such a big plant. Just really needs good light.
Pretty plants. Can i suggest changing the light bulb near the wall scindapsus and others. If its a plant light bulb it is bery cheap to run and you could leave on most of the day.
@@devinsonam I use a light meter that measures foot candles and tells us how much light in numbers each spot of my house gets. I LOVE IT. anyway low light is such a generic term and it has a huge range. but if it is too low a plant will produce tiny leaves or yellow leaves. you mentioned the plants were struggling so I was thinking the light might not be enough for them but just a thought
@@cathy2142 Ya definitely the ones on my stairwell are struggling bc of light which was my bad! I did it in winter where the leaves on the trees were off so the light was so much brighter! But for the light I have on them...its actually a full spectrum grow light from GE which I really like and seems to be helping
I tossed my polly. I disnt like the look as it dropped a few leaves. And for the aloe. You could give it the worm castings too dressing once every 30 days
@@devinsonam I hear that. the polly is beautiful and really neat but the growth for me is a no thank you. I also had a bunch of succulents and they didnt' do it for me either. I would love to try a homalomena emerald gem some day too. do you have a birkin yet? I didn't think i would like it but I totally love mine! I bought a 6 inche and the top leaves are the size of my whole hand and really striking lines.
@@cathy2142 Ya I can't do succulents either...not my thing. I always end up killing them somehow! I haven't tried the Birkin yet. Do you find it to be pretty easy?
@@devinsonam yes! so far it is in a peaty mix and mine is in a large 6 inch pot and has 3 plants growing all together. the top 3 large laves are about 6 inches in length and the white and green leaves are gorgeous! I also found the leaf texture of the newest leaves to be a big thicker with slight ridges. I was told just water when mostly dry so I do that and mist it 2ce a day as our air is DRY but it might not need misting at all. Mine just unfurled a new leaf. I got mine at a local shot for $20 and I feel like that was a steal for how lush it is! you definitely should get one if you are considering and like philodendrons
@@devinsonam my wish list is a bird of paradise IF i feel I have a good place for it in our new home. brasil, janet craig, cast iron, monstera peru, white diamond aglaonema, stripes aglaonema, and MAYBE a varigated ZZ if it's not an arm and a leg
@@cathy2142 I have a few of those plants and I really like my Cast Iron plant! They're super easy...but for some reason they are expensive at my nurseries. I actually found mine on Amazon.
Thank you . I enjoyed both part one and part two.
Love your collection 💜💜
Your beautiful plants collection, I love it and your baby is adorable ❤️
The most beautiful and adorable plant is the last one!
What a cute baby!
Does your simply humidifier use tap water or distilled water? Thanks for the video! I love to see how people set up their home with plants.
I use tap water to be honest!

It stays on most of the day actually. Why would you suggest to change it?
