He talked about how the whole shaqtin' a fool thing affected him mentally to the point where it ruined his confidence on court. Truth is he was a solid roleplaying center and with the right coaching and encouragement (instead of constantly seeing how bad he was on TV) he could have been more. He put up 11 ppg 8rpg 2.2bpg on 25 minutes when he was young and he did 12/7.5/2.0 as an old guy in LA. Think about what he could have been in the right system.
Dude needs more respect than what he's been given. Always loved his hustle and his contributions as a Laker. I was quite dumb founded when the Lakers dealt some of there best assets after winning a chip in '20. Danny Green on the other hand??? Yeah I wanted him to continue his masonry for another team long before he was finally dealt!!
On the Wizards, he got more freedom to score. On the nuggets, he runs the floor to score on the break. Iggy and Miller provided him so much oppurtunities. On the Warriors, he got the chance to add 10+ pts every game because of how much space he had inside the arc, Warriors just keep feeding him. In the Lakers, he gave AD more freedom on offense since he can protect the paint while AD was hustling up front.
Great energy and an absolute athletic marvel in his prime. He aged really well too always a big part of championship caliber teams dude is very underrated.
Just watched Shaqtin' now it's time to go the other way. He's been a good player for a long time. His bad plays are just funny sometimes, but he's not some dumbass screwing up left and right.
I never liked or agreed with the disrespect this guy got...ppl acted like he was a clown because he made a few mental mistakes...but they ignored the absolute force he is underneath
I mean you can’t deny that he has had some pretty dumb and very funny plays. Unfortunately many people (myself included) only saw that side and not how much of a beast he can be the rest of the time. But people have woken up I think, dude has stayed in the league for so long and gotten multiple rings so he’s getting the respect he deserves now
I really like when he was on the lakers and I thought it was the stupidest thing to trade him rite after they won the championship. Frank the GM was an idiot for that move.
THIS DUDE NEEDS MORE FREAKING RESPECT,.
He's going to get it in Sacramento!
Dude is one of the most underrated players ever imo
T

McGee didn’t play a minute in the finals
@@AlexGarcia-pf5qr Yeah but look at their big man situation in 21 and 22. Playing LeBron at center was not a good move. They could have used Mcgee.

He's an AWESOME PLAYER and TECHNICALLY SHOULD STILL BE IN THE LEAGUE

Legendary mcgee he was truly a beast as a center and knowing his role.
Some people think he's just a clown because of the Shaq thing...but this guy can PLAY
Man this guy was so good when he was on the warriors. Always would come on and give size and catch lobs
Warriors definitely accepted Javell and brought out the best in him. Was fun to watch.
this reminds me what it was like to play on a 9 foot rim back then...

It's a pity that he always had time limits due to asthma(

One of those freak dudes that makes a 10 ft room look like a 8, seems to be going a foot higher than anyone else
Dwight kinda did the same I guess
@@randomando4310 agree early orlando years, i think howard had the hops mcgee has a freakish wingspan
@@deni8814 McGee in his best years had some serious hops too though lol
He was talked about and ridiculed by Shaq but he's got 3 rings 💍 to Shaqs 4 and he honest played a role in earning them. He's an OMEGA SUPREME
Definition of pick and roll lob threat
Lakers desperately needs to bring him and Howard back. Regardless of age. Chemistry
Standing dunk at 6:37

I will tell my kids that this was Wilt Chamberlain.
Javale... do some perfect form twist with the finger point...
tellement sous-estimé ce joueur, mais y'a une justice au final, 3 fois champion. il le mérite largement.
