@@methodwlck1988 the length is about 10 or 12 sm (4-5lnches), dont remember☹️. diameter is 1/2 inch. It is a standart pipe. If any questions, write me.
Before i was spraying with wd40 and lock pin worked again. Only few months later same again locking stopped working. This time thanks to ur disasembly i knew exactly where to spray lock pin. If will stop work again i will perform total removal Like u did. Thank u!!!!!
@@methodwlck1988 wd 40 will help for a some time. The body of a mirror is made of ALUMINIUM and the pin is made of inox or somthing like that. Becouse of corrosion of the AL body the pin stucks. If it happend once, it will repeat...you can fix this problem only after disassembling, cleaning, and lubricating.
Finally somebody tackle this issue!!! Could you tell me length and outside diameter of the metal tube you inserted to hold spring, please?
