Wantage has so much going on. Lots of scenery ideas. Also the uneven trackwork adds to the atmosphere. How the locos maintain contact is amazing.
Really is a superb little layout. So much going on. Glad you enjoyed the coverage
Narrow gauge modelers are a dedicated lot. All the layouts featured are impressive.
Agreed
All very nice layouts
Cheers! Glad you enjoyed the show!
St. Oswalds goes to show what a bit of observant weathering and attention to scenery can do. Really well done. Enjoyable.
Is always a pleasure to see. Spot some new little weathering detail each time. Simplistic, yet so effective!
Wonderful scenery. Thanks for sharing. dave
Cheers Dave
I love the narrow guage teddy locomotive
Yes, wearing its correct uniform (livery) too!
The one featured in the video thumbnail is superb!
St. Oswald's is always Is always a pleasure to see. Detail and weathering is spot on. Simple, yet so effective!
We were regulars with the GLR stand when it was held at Shepton school back in the day.
I'm really sorry to have missed this, I just can't think how that happened. Oh well. Thanks for the video. That made up for it a little.
(Edit: I have just realised my wife was in hospital so clearly my mind was on other things) Thanks again Callum.
Shame you were unable to make it, but glad the video made up for it. Was a good little send off for sure. Only managed to attend the last Shepton Show, one of the best I'd ever attended!
An interesting array of Lay-out as per usual Callum 🙂🚂🚂🚂
Cheers mate! Glad you enjoyed the show
cool train show on channel thanks lee
Glad you enjoyed it
Wantage was on the exhibition circuit when I was living in the south, so must be at least 12 years old, still looks super. What was the location of the show and what club/society ran it?
Really is a lovely interpretation of the tramways. Details on the show are in the description
Great video Callum! What make/model is your video camera?
Cheers. It's a Panasonic HC-V260 camcorder. It's quite an old model now, so I recently bought one of Panasonic's latest models, which is no were near as good. Shame really.
will you be in ilfacombe north devon for the show in march its a local club hosting it im 24 years old just getting back in the hobby now
Sadly not I'm afraid.
Hi Callum , just want your opinion, what is best day to go to Alexander Palace Exhibition in your mind , I suppose if anyone wants a Specific Loco ,they might sell out on sat, are you going and what day , Many thanks
Hi Gary. I've never been so can't really comment, but if your after something from a stand, the I would guess the first day of the show would be best.
@@SDJR7F88 Hi Callum thanks for reply, I am surprised you have never been to London Festival of Railway Modelling at Alexander Palace, it must be the biggest in UK. Think it is run by British Railway Modelling who are in attendance, who I thought you worked for
I booked ticket for Saturday ,so looking forward to see new models , will have to keep my wallet fairly closed, Temptations to buy !
Regards Gary
@@garyjones6438 Hi Gary, yes is one of the biggest, but not the largest as that is the show held at the NEC. I work for Railway Modeller magazine
