Loved listening to your grandad,, reminds me of my 94 year old dad. Gardening was very therapeutic to the lads who were fortunate to come back from WW2. The quiet and keeping busy helped them when they came back from service. Love how he’s gardening in dress pants, just like my dad. My dad is from Fulham.
Seeing your granddad made me miss mine so much. I hadn’t seen him since I left NZ for Australia when I was a little girl and he would have passed away by now. I’m now 39. They are so precious- keep your old people close 💕

Your Grandad is fantastic. Please do a few more Gardening videos with him. Consider popping some white flowering plants into the mix...it brings an elegance to the flower beds and helps with the other flowers blending in with your walls and sleepers.
Your Grandad is absolutely adorable! 😊 I love seeing grandparents so active and loving to help out their family. I hope you treated him to a full body massage at one of your favorite spas for all his back-breaking work! But if he's anything like my family, where you have to practically tie them to a chair to keep them from doing anything and everything to help out, I understand you may have had little choice in the matter of him on his hands and knees digging away. Maybe next time you can bargain with him and let him do the raised beds and you do the digging and planting on the low beds while he preps the plants for you! He's definitely a hard worker and such a trooper! 😊 You are a very lucky grandson!
My grand father died many years ago but till this day I think about and speak about him every day. He was the greatest man I have ever known and loved me like only a proud grandfather could. Hope there is an afterlife where we can meet again and pick up where we left off. Thanks for being real and showing what truly matters.
I can't believe you'd really have ur Grandpa choose plants and not let him plant them,to a gardener that's the best bit. Its like asking someone to go shopping for an amazing meal your going to cook but they can't taste any food once you've cooked it. Have you thought instead of trailing flowering plants planting grapes,passion fruits,red currants, black currants ect also courgettes, pumpkins , peas beans all trailing and would look great against the flowers and would also ripen well with the heat off the wall kinda like a brickwork radiator. Please don't throw away the lavender flowers give them a good wash pop them in some sugar and make lavender sugar. Infuse in water and make lavender lemonade cordial. Pop some in some gin with extra sugar and make lavender gin. You can also evaporate the gin and have pure lavender oil. Please don't bin the flowers. PS.
