Amen but everything you said was about sanctification/growth not salvation or how to be born again. The gospel that SAVES is 1 Cor 15-1-4 "1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" Jesus Christ has already forgiven us through his blood washing away ALL sins (past present and future) and we accept his forgiveness, his FREE GIFT, through trusting in what He said He did, HE DID. Eph 2:8-9 No work of our own will ever save us or keep us saved. The nanosecond we trust Jesus took our hell punishment away from us we're SAVED, BORN AGAIN, sealed with the Holy Spirit, and made right with God. Eph 1:13-14, Titus 3:5. Salvation is not a process it is a one-time event and is something we MUST do which is done by having FAITH in him. Sanctification/growth is a process and is something we SHOULD do, and we do it by abiding in him. Discipleship is not a part of salvation it is a part of sanctification. And if someone does not grow at all in their faith, they're still saved. Rom 4:5
