For Christmas, Griffith Park Train Rides takes the famous old ride and updates it with a lot of Christmas cheer. This adventure is only $4 a person for both children and adults and it is a great way for the whole family to have a fun Christmas adventure. This video shows the entire train ride, with the dark parts sped up. Hopefully it will let you see how much fun it is and go check it out for yourself.

Very pretty and an excellent video. I have to say, though that I am disappointed in the Christmas display Griffith Park has put on. Compared to their Halloween display, this is pretty poor. The Halloween display is marvelous, with lights, set pieces, all kinds of things. But this Christmas display is very poor by comparison-----just a few lighted trees, widely separated. I have to assume that they don't make as much money off of the Christmas holiday train as they do on the Halloween train, so they don't put that much effort into it.
I think your talking about the live Steamers.. It's another train ride set up on the other side of the park. It's next door to the Travel Town Museum.. They do it up for Halloween
