@Christopher Hueghs Hi , I left out any mention of 29 palms on purpose due the FACT that it is the septic system of the world and a shame on humanity . It is where brain washed minions of SATAN become mercenaries of evil for VA benefits and an evil father figure to tell them what to do . Because they can not figure out how to be a man and create good in the world . One of the 836 military bases in 170 countries while China and Russia have only eleven bases out side their countries . 29 palms is the drone bomber training ground and the lights from it at night deprive the locals of needed night sky required for healthy living . Sorry you had to bring it up . What a disappointment for decent folks .of the entire world ! It is why we have endless wars . To give them a reason for existing .
I wouldn’t recommend wandering around the desert. I went into a cave and got caught in a time loop. I had to relive the same day over and over for hundreds of years.
Just a tip, every Thursday night between 7pm-11pm there is a street fair on the downtown Palm Springs Strip. Super fun, loaded with people and amazing products. My first date was there.

My wife and I are in Palm Springs for a two-week holiday. Based on your video we went to Bill’s Pizza. It was the BEST pizza I have ever eaten! Thank you for the recommendation.
Sunnylands Ranch in the spring when the flowers are blooming. This is where a lot of presidents would go to vacation. The grounds are amazing. My favorite is the barrel cactus garden.

Bill from "Bill's Pizza" catered my wedding! He was such a sweet man to work with from beginning to end. We wanted to have fun food for our guests and tried so many places, Bill's was our top choice and he personally talked to us day in and day out. My wedding was his first and last wedding to cater as he sadly passed away from a roofing accident months later. We had tech issues at my venue from start to finish, but Bill pulled on through and made it as great as possible, my guests loved his pizza. Great stuff, and very recent info. I go out there 6-7 times a year, and you hit many of my favorite hot spots. (P.S. Don't forget the metallic female statue behind the Starbucks. Great place for selfies, and you're just a block from the Art Museum and the mysterious giant black babies...)

I was in Palm Springs for the first time in November of 2021, and after being sheltered in place for a while, it was such a breath of fresh air to be there at a good time. I had driven on I-10 a number of times and never realized how close it is to the freeway. It's downtown area has a lot eateries and entertainment, but what impressed me the most was the gondola ride up to the top of the San Jacinto Mountains. Looking up to the top of the mountains from the valley, it appears its terrain is the same as in the valley, but I was surprised at how much cooler it was at the top, and how much it looked like being in Yosemite. I am glad we got a chance to up to the top because I was totally impressed with the physical environment at the top.
I've lived here since 2005 and still have never been on the tram. Have to actually do that one of these days, haha. Thanks for the nice look at our lovely city. 😊
As desert rat born and raised this is spot on. But you have to add the Indian canyons, a staple, and the natural hot springs in desert hot springs, there are many resorts that have them in that town. if you go to JT you can swing by desert hots springs before heading back to Palm Springs.
Hey guys! Just headed out to Palm Springs weekend with your vid as inspiration! We hit up Bills Pizza and Lapperts and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Much love. -- Chris

I love your videos. This is great. So you can sound like a local next time, say “ha-sinto” not “jah-sinto”, and “tah-quits” not “tah-keets”. Also, Elvis and Pricilla (not Lisa Marie, his daughter) rented that house for more than just a night.
i say "tah-keets" also.....i figured it was a spanish word...so i say it the way a spanish speaking person would read it....when i hear the locals (my friends) say "tah-quits" i cringe! lol

Ahh yes nothing like being served on by drug addicts and felons! The owner has a deal with CA Corrections. If an inmate has no family, or prospects they can volunteer to get dropped off in DHS and work at his spa. He pays minimum wage, and they live in apartments on the property for a discount. However, he is also known in the valley for paying in speed if you would rather have that then cash. He will even let you run a tab, so you basically end up in debt to him and working for free. Over the years I met many an employee of his.
I was in Palm Springs a lot as a child and a teen. My grandfather owned Melvyns up until he passed away and i haven't been down much since, i really need to go back, and see if my grandfathers star is back o the walk of fame since it was removed for renovation.

I’m impressed! You got from 1 to 12 without involving food! Ha ha - great list and great job as always and now I want to go to Palm Springs...
Travel Small Live Big haha but then I did nothing but food at the end 😂😂😂
I love your videos. This is great. So you can sound like a local next time, say “ha-sinto” not “jah-sinto”, and “tah-quits” not “tah-keets”. Also, Elvis and Pricilla (not Lisa Marie, his daughter) rented that house for more than just a night.
i say "tah-keets" also.....i figured it was a spanish word...so i say it the way a spanish speaking person would read it....when i hear the locals (my friends) say "tah-quits" i cringe! lol
It’s too late, he ruined it
@@michaelshelley1289 Your logic is good, but It's actually a Cahuilla indian word.
Pappy and Harriet’s and Pioneertown are an awesome stop on the was to or from Joshua Tree.
Pinnochios is also a great Brunch Restaurant and they do Bottomles champagne! Breakfast is really good its a must.!!!!
Had more way to any mimosas than I can remember at Pinocchio’s but I slightly remember a delicious turkey bacon cheese and avocado melt. Prepare to take home 1/2. It is great hangover food and you may need it

You've never mispronounced a word?
@@bricktopperheadon5490 It's not a negative, it's simply an easy way to spot an out of towner.
How is it pronounced correctly?
Nothing wrong with someone mispronouncing it, but to answer your question, it's pronounced ta-quits
Awesome video! Thank you!
Me and my friends are planning a trip to Palm Springs and this was so helpful. Thanks Josh!
What time of year did you visit Tahquitz Canyon that it was dry? Great suggestions thanks for sharing.
Next time you should visit George’s Burger right outside of Palm Springs in the Cathedral city area
Your videos are a great resource when planning a trip: I will do The Botanical Gardens, The Taquiz Hike, Starbucks Reserve and The Contemporary Art Museum and might do Bill Pizza for lunch but Elmer’s looks good too. Thanks!
#9 "Pool Side" ~ Must include Desert Hot Springs Spa & Hotel
That war museum is one of the best in the world was there 2 years ago , the art museum is that the one that was once a bank ? I went in one it still has the vault in there an the drive through window .
