This guy is like one of the only tech reviewer that is good at games so it’s even more entertaining to see him in the game as wel as the review
Fresh Reviews aswell
Don't come at Linus like that
I wouldn't say the only one 😉. But I know exactly what you mean.
dont forget about RJN and Boardzy
@@571FlexOffender RJN doesnt really review anything anymore tbh, boardzy is goated tho
really digging all the new mice that are coming out with these minimal designs and more attention to detail, i like that company’s are having to think more about how their product looks, feels and performs rather than just what’s in it
I love Ali's videos because he'll show you a mouse, then show him shredding Apex with that mouse, and it shows you that someone, maybe not me, but someone, can shred with this mouse too. Instant credibility.
Exactly. Watched almost every video from him and I'm still surprised every time he shows his apex gameplay
100%. I'm gonna trust a guy who is actually good at games on what peripherals are good. Not some terrible game journalist or some ultra casual player who is not good.
@@IqVRN4Blca29jaxkodXn lol It's an instant no from me when I see a reviewer recommend a mouse and I see their absolute bot gameplay
and then there is you who believes everything he says... so many sheeps in our world nowadays
I sort of get what you're trying to say, but if you think about it, your logic doesn't make a lot of sense here. You said it yourself, HE is good at Apex with this mouse, but
you or me or alot of people won't be as good, but someone is! Therefore this must be a good mouse. Using that logic, wouldn't that make every gaming peripheral good? Because there's always going to be someone out there who can use a peripheral efficiently even if you think it's bad. Idk maybe I'm overthinking this lol
Thanks to you Pulsar is releasing a firmware update fixing the sleep issue by oct 15th and is fixing the heavy clicks for the next batch of the X2/X2Mini, the mouse should be amazing with the improvements 🙏
do you know when the next batch will be released?
@@shanksisnoteventhatstrongbruh they change the switch or what?
Is it the case for v2 as well?
has it been released?
Absolutely love your channel, over the years I have cared less and less about other reviewers because they feel more like they are selling me something rather than laying out the facts. You present the information exactly how I want and always have sound product advice! Keep up the amazing work as always! 🙌🏻
I definitely agree on the main buttons and how heavy they can feel. I guess its the implementation of them since i really like my mz1 wireless and it’s click feel yet it uses the same kailh GM 8.0
Do you have the MZ1 Wireless and the X2 mini ? Which one do u prefer ? what are your hands size and grip style ?
@@lltalionll I have around 17x8 cm and tend to use relaxed claw. I would say I prefer mz1 mainly because of the switches. I’m not the biggest fan of heavy mouse clicks and the mz1 clicks have a very good balance between tactility and lightness. I like the shape of the mz1 but it’s very different so it took a few hours to get used to the high hump while the x2 mini felt very natural out of the box.
@@Legokillen51 Thanks, maybe i will try the X2 mini one day if they fix all QC issues (or a lamzu atlantis mini / xm2w mini if they release it). For now i have an MZ1 Wireless (18x10 relaxed claw) and i really like it but.... Xtrfy really need to work on a better coating. Those crazy comfort groove are helping a lot but the side without grip when your hands become sweaty... sometimes it's a nightmare ^^' . I cuted 3 piece of lizard skin dsp but i prefer a mouse without grip (grips become dirty really quickly) so i'm just looking for something else to try. We really need some Vaxee or Zowie Wireless Ultralight mouses on the market rn (dawn that NP-01s look sick i will pre order it if they release it even if i need to wait 1 year or more).
That's funny, I have mz1 (wired) and X2 mini and I find buttons heavier on mz1.
@@Inotteb They fixed the wired QC issues before releasing the wireless MZ1(thankfully), they are really light on my copy 👌maybe it's just a QC issue with a majority of X2 mini or your MZ1.
The hardness and snappiness of the Kailh switches in these is why my Pulsar X2 Medium will be returned. Awesome LOOKING mouse in red. The shape was pretty good for me (relaxed claw palm hybrid). Comparing back to back mid-game with my DAV3 the sensor didn't track as smoothly either. The new Razers are on another level right now.
QC issues are very apparent. First copy had grinding clicks and side popping, second copy had a damaged ribbon cable inside, rendering the side buttons useless.
At least its not 180$ unlike the starlight
@@callmeacutekitten8106 Mine has already cost me 120€ due to MaxGaming RMA shipping. About to be 20€ more when I RMA the second one lol
@@callmeacutekitten8106 starlight is worth if you have the money
my copy was perfect but yeah order from amazon just in case for ez returns
Same
My first copy literally didn't work without a wire, had to ship it back
hopefully my second one is fine
I think Pulsar has taken note of the delay latency problem and has fixed it by now, as per stated by Hausgaming. Not sure if it has improved performance but yeah.
hmm instresing would be cool to see this revisted with the latest firmware to see if it fixes it
Honestly you’re the only tech reviewer worth watching anymore. Keep up the awesome work
I find it so weird how quickly the mouse community went from shilling the gm 8.0 to deciding it is garbage.
Ikr? Soon pink dot switches will be “bad”
no one gonna talk about the cut at 6:58 ? so cleann
If only Razer released a wireless Viper mini that would be my end game. You think you'll get the Lamzu Atlantis for review? I've heard it's really promising, and other mice reviewers are labelling it the best mouse of 2022.
Last i checked on reddit, they ( Razer ) were planning on December ish Viper mini ultimate
You know what they say about people with small hands.
@@zihuatenejo There's women who have small hands too idiot
@@HaanSoIo it’s prolly viper mini v2 but yea sometime then I might get it but I like viper pro v2 and the old viper mini had is a bit
Too small
i want a viper non mini. my hands are too big for a mini..
I know this is a tech channel but I think there's a lot of people that would love to see a gym video from you. Show us how you built those guns
The Pulsar X2 Mini and Lamzu Atlantis were my top two choices, but good thing I discovered the Fantech Aria XD7 and decided to purchase that instead.
It's a 59-gram lightweight wireless egg shape mouse with a high-end PixArt 3395 sensor, TTC Gold Scroll Wheel Encoder, Kailh GM8.0 switches, and even has tri-mode connectivity for only $70. I thought it was too good to be true especially considering the price, but when I got my hands on it, I can definitely say that the value for money of this mouse is insane! It even includes grip tapes, and additional skates (you can opt for tiger arc skates as well) in the package.
In my country Fantech XD 7 is just 50 bucks lol
@@corniel657 Right!? It's a damn good deal! I got mine for Php 3,000 here in the Philippines, and that includes shipping. Value for money is really insane.
thanks for the review. I was waiting for you before deciding
Would love a video on tenz mouse. Your apex gameplay is so good but I like this style of reviews
Always a pleasure watching gaming clips in monitor/mice reviews from Ali, especially something fast-paced like Apex Legends. I mean this guy is a beast in shooters.
I've been seeing A LOT of QC problems on reddit. Like, a scary amount. Probably will buy the Lamzu istead.
Amazing reviews, found your channel this week and it's great
another fantastic video, so glad I found your channel for all of the great tech recommendations. been trying the IE300s because of one of your IEM videos and have been loving them!
i love the shape way more than the superlight, superlight's bump feels intrusive on my hands while pulsar feels perfect
Your reviews are the most detailed, huge fan!
Thank you for the review, solid as always. Waiting till you get your hands on Lamzu Atlantiss!
cant wait to get mine, DHL fumbled my delivery but pulsar was nice enough to send out a new one no questions asked. the x2 and lamzu atlantis came out of the blue this year and im hyped for what we get from those company's in the future.
Been waiting for your reviews of pulsar products. Thank you
Just bought one today waiting for it to come in the mail. Thanks for the awesome reviews as perusual .
side note you're absolutely cracked
Man. You are the only tech youtuber I know of that has high level skill in FPS.
I just waited until the medium got restocked on their website, i also use the grip tape, it feels really good, and is very thin. Might battery mod it and paint it next. Stunning camera work as always!
Was the grip tape delivered with the mouse?
Unmatched when it comes to tech reviews.
Yes!! I just subbed a few days ago and love this guy
@@simonvutov7575 Check out fresh reviews, he is a similar reviewer.
Nice Mouse Control clips there ! I love how you are a tech Ytber but you actually have good aim :) Thanks for video and info's !
you should definitely tag pulsar with that 5 second sleepmode, just to accelerate potential firmware update and warn all csgo / valorant players
should I update the firmware? if i play valorant
@@yuangdong406 Yea they fixed the sleepmode in new firmware
Ive been so exited for your review on the x2 mice
They've got release an update that fixes the click latency after 5 seconds stationary
That is unforgivable for "gaming" mouse... It should be at least 10 seconds
agree, with a firmware update they should make it a minimum of 30 seconds but preferably 60 seconds (perhaps customizable in software and saved in the mouse memory so it stays the same when switching PCs)
@@shanksisnoteventhatstrongbruh what do u mean I’m new to mouses
what does this meme
Very nice quality videos man, great work!
I do like that they've got cut-outs on it to easily lift the feet without janking up the feet or the bottom of the mouse.
i own both of these and the feel of the x2 in the buttons is better than the gpro, but it's all down to preference of shape really, i play well with both, and i can happily use either of these mice
Please review Lamzu Atlantis, Maya or Thorn bro, they're pretty competitive to Pulsar and Superlight. Your comprehensive review will help a lot of people in making purchase decisions.
This has become my endgame mouse at the moment. Shape is perfect and with the software updating the latency, I have zero complaints
They'll be on Amazon pretty soon. I see some people are already buying them and leaving reviews.
New SSUPD case is coming out soon called the Meshroom, looking into it to down size some more withing being able to fit two 280mm radiators .
Can't wait to see your video, if ever, comparing the GPX, Pulsar X2, and Lamzu Atlantis
this is now officially my favorite youtube channel.
Awesome review yet again. Are you going to make a review on the new Lamzu atlantis and HATI S PLUS 4K Wireless? I'm curious how much potential they have
Great review. Thank you!
bout time! i was waiting for your review to decide if i should buy it.
Great review, really enjoy the detail info, specially the graphs and latency. Any chance you could review the Fantech Aria XD7?
after using a superlight, viper v2 pro, and this(X2 medium), it is a good mouse that does a lot more for "budget" gaming mice than say glorious has been doing lately. Its a really solid experience and Im glad I have one, even tho I may end up back on one of the other 2 mentioned here at some point.
So, What's better for you? Viper V2 Pro or Superlight?
@@koraptd6085 frr
@@koraptd6085 for me it's the superlight. I wish it had usb c but the shape is just that much better to me
I'm still smashing with my G305 with Kailh gm 4.0, AAA battery mod and custom glides.
Same, but mine was 8.0.
Hey man, great review and video as usual. Will you be reviewing the Lamzu Atlantis at any point? Seeing a lot of hype around the mouse and interested in picking it up but would love to see the goat review it first before I buy
Best PC gaming reviewer POINT BLANK PERIOD. ANOTHER BANGER FROM THE GOAT!
I have to say that thing after 5 seconds, latency goes down, is a deal breaker for sure!
Thats a huge oversight! Thank you so much for testing this because all the reviews i have seen have no idea this exists. This is really bad for people like me who play Val, your holding corners for long periods of time (definitely at times it can easily be more than 5 seconds), knowing that my latency more then doubles, who ever does end up showing up at that corner, there is a good chance your losing that fight....
This NEEDS TO CHANGE, either they make it longer (60 seconds min) or they can add it to the software they provide with the mouse. Whichever way they choose they need to make this change ASAP!
My thoughts exactly, major deal breaker for CSGO/Val players as its a common scenario in those games to be holding angles for around 5s or a bit more sometimes.
yea i still recommend the viper v2, its simply the best mouse on the market currently, nothing beats it
Same with me, although I've sent them a message on twitter they've told me that they will include a software setting or smth soon
@@scragglie So expensive though..... I mean if pulsar fixes that issue (which is 100% software base), I don't see anything else wrong with it other then that.
@@elitec631 OH really, that would solve the only issue i have with that mouse!
These mice look really appealing for a claw grip user. I have managed to pick up shroud g303 for just 72$ new and I'm loving it. It was an amazing deal, but the pulsar x2 are very interesting.
Dude Where thefuck did you get that deal
That’s what I’m saying. I love my shroud g303. If it was 10g lighter it would be end game.
@@corniel657 local store in Poland, no one wanted to buy it so they put it on sale.
I got the Zenitsu edition from Microcenter. Stands up to the best of them, I think. Good weight, wireless, a little pizazz in the color scheme.
I don't even know what Demon Slayer is but I like the color. Cheaper than most of the bigger brands, still expensive.
Good video but... How come everybodys result is different? For example, TheWhale has different result on latency? I also saw a latency guide on Ratings with completely different results, but seems like the same setup?
Nice comparisons. Definitely harder to get your hands on one. Trying the v2 pro right now. Only have had it for one day, my main is a gpx…so we’ll see if I keep the v2 pro
Well?
@@bwb4449 i returned it. Didn’t justify to keep it since I had the RVU, buttons are great on the v2 pro. Just couldn’t see the wow. So now waiting to see to get hands on the DAV3 or even waiting for the LA-1 😬
@@LegendLuna my brother has the DAV3. It was originally mine and I sold it to him. Didn’t really care for it. If you like the RVU shape, it’s completely different. My thing is that I like the ambi shape. I keep going back to my GPX
@@bwb4449 lol same, I just revert back, but maybe just maybe if i get my hands on a regular x2 or lamzu 🤷♂
After having two Superlights fail on me (left click issues on both). I just purchased the X2 since it's dimensions are similar to the Superlight. Thanks for the review
How's it been so far?
@@Decommissioned I really like it so far and obviously the Superlight sets the bar high too. I haven't had any issue at all and it has similar dimensions to the Superlight
@@mattgreen3596 How's the battery life been on it? How long are you going with it before having to charge it? I've heard people having issues with the battery life. And hows the battery compared to the superlight?
@@Decommissioned battery life is shit. double clicking after 3 months. this is worse than the superlight lol i have the x2 mini red edition.
Ordered one after watching your video! Package just arrived and this is by far the best mouse I've ever owned. Totally smokes my Logitech G603 and Razer Basilisk Ultimate, it's so lightweight it barely feels like you're holding a mouse
Woah what a coincidence... I have been looking at the V2 and X2 mini for the last week but have been hesitant to pull the trigger. I would die if a smaller USB-C version of the Superlight or available Finalmouse comes out after my purchase! Also, does anyone think that a mouse with the ability to hotswap switches is worth it (I fell down the keyboard rabbit hole) ? I recently bought a Tecware Pulse Elite for my brother when I was on holiday in Singapore and for a third of the price of the Pulsar, though it weighed in at 77gms it had the ability to hotswap switches and it's body to a honeycomb shell so it's been mighty tempting to wait till I can get one somehow sent in to Australia from Asia...
I own the Tecware Pulse Elite. I don't really mind the weight, I can aim and use the mouse fine. The hotswap switches definitely feels worth it for me since I can experiment with some Kailh silent switches that I bought, unfortunately I had to remove the spacers on the buttons
Wearing what looks like a wedding band in some shots, congrats!!
Nice review. Any plans reviewing Fantech Aria or Lamzu Atlantis (nice lightweight fingergrip options as well)?
The ways i know i can trust this guy’s reviews of gaming equipment is that 1: he knows his stuff. 2: he’s good at the games he plays 3: he watches aceu 🙏🏼
Maybe i've missed it, but did you forget to talk about battery life ? It's an important parameter for a wireless mouse, and the superlight wou've been a perfect reference point.
I have a huge hand (21x10)but went for the V2 mini version, and i find it rather comfortable despite the size, I do want to try the medium one just to make sure if its gonna suit better for me because my grip is rather unique.
anyway, this is a great mouse overall.
also i find the Razer V2 Switch for the X2V2 replacement have better click weight compared to stock IMO.
if you find the stock feel too light and mushy, consider replacing
Great review! I been enjoying the mini since I got it. I actually like the main buttons though, but I also liked the fk2 buttons lol.
first time watching this channel. Came for the mouse review, stayed for the demon level apex clips holy....
7:35 IT’S VEDO BABY!!
the x2 mini is the first mouse ive ever used that truly feels like an extension of my hand. such a worthwhile purchase for someone with smaller hands like mine
May I know what your hand size is?
@@1OF1WNL 16.5cm length idk wiidth
The main MAIN MAIN REASON i trust THIS man heavily w reviewing ANNYYYT GAMING TECH is that apex gameplay. U see other people review it and have the worst clips ever. Meanwhile this man is tap strafing & flicking on the entire lobby.
nice review! are you planning on reviewing the atlantis too?
What? A person that tests products and is actually good at games?😯
Was waiting for this review
The pulsar x2 mini is my hands perfect size! I absolutely love the feel and ergonomics of it! definitely a good purchase
Nice video ! I'll stay on my Superlight.
Pulsar has the same scroll wheel ?!
Great review! Are you gonna review the lamzu atlantis?
6:56 nice transition
At this point it's just an Apex montage video with a lil bit of tech and am not complaining 🔥
I love how your manually testing the latency your self. A lot of other youtubers don't do that, but does it really make a difference to us mere humans?
most likely, nah. but still it's a subtle thing that may improve the overall feeling of the mouse (alongside the other hundred of barely noticeable benefits)
Very nice review!! Can u review the lamzu atlantis?
Hey Optimum Tech! Any chance of Fantech Aria XD7 review? Maybe a comparision with x2 mini or Orochi v2? Please :)
There are other reviews but yours are on another level.
The white GPX's coating turns eggshell/orangish colour no matter how clean you try to keep them. I had two do that. And I'm surprised you don't like Kailh 8.0s over the Omron 20s, I can't stand those and swapped my GPX's to 8.0s.
I would recommend Omron 20s to absolutely no one.
While I like my G303, I've grown to hate the coating. I use a hyrbid tip/claw grip so once they iron out the QC issues (or rather if) I'll be checking this out.
Good reivew, thank you, ended up ordering this along with a new mousepad. Let's continue gaming folks :) (y)
Hi optimum. You should review the lamzu Atlantis much better then the pulsar x2 55g hot swappable switches and the best looking mouse right now in my opinion and they will probably do a mini version of it.
And it's their first mouse.
Uses the same internals and firnware as the pulsar, let me guess, what issues it will have...
@@yoriow877 it just has the same sensor as the pulsar, literally everything else is different
Hi Ali, love the video, can you do a review on the Lamzu Atlantis as well? I heard its a very good mouse and wanted to know your opinion on it
when i received this mouse i instantly knew it was my favorite mouse of all time
did this problem when the latency spikes from 17ms to 35 are fixed now with the firmware update because I consider buying this mouse
can't wait for OT to test the lamzu atlantis and possibly its future mini version
I see you got yourself a new custom keyboards with some blue keycaps back in the background!
Cant wait for your Lamzu Atlantis review
Why don't u do all of your Maus testings like this?
Becouse then for example we can compare them better to each other, right?
Cool video!
Brucelee edition is supposed to fix some things you didn’t like. Maybe you can check it out.
Gwolves is doing pre orders for the Hati 4k You should def get one for review
On point. Been waiting this review from OT. The main clicks really disappoints me, I have to really test it and unfortunately I got a loose clicker shell and they rattle so bad. The both size are amazing, it's just a matter of preference and I find my self using the size 2 more even If I can use the mini with ease. So far, still loving this mouse right now but the Lamzu Atlantis is really on another level (not too far but it's better than X2 imo). So, I am going to wait for your review on that mouse too. Thanks man!
wtf bro is actually competent at gaming and providing valuable insight
Can you also review the lamzu Atlantis?
Awesome video like always can you please do a 011 min build 12900k I'll like too see The setup you will come up with keep up the great content.
didn't realize you could close doors while firing in Apex, nice plays
I'd wait for Endgame gear xm2rw. Price isn't that different at least here in Australia and you get a much better sensor. PixArt PAW3395 vs 3370
Xm2w and X2 both use 3395
Nice job Pulsar! Finally I'm able to retire my Superlight and get rid of the Micro-USB cable on my desk
