    Labyrinth searching linear equation cannon then winning the game with it would be legendary.
    Making this a mathmech card was a missed opportunity

    You are a brave soul for covering this strange series of cards, I don’t think the versions we have seen are the end.

    Now someone born after 1990 will automatically buy a full playset of Cannon to put in their Mathmech deck just to troll people at their locals. Lol.

    And with Legacy of Destruction...
    We now have Simultaneous Equation Cannon

      that card is 100 times easier to resolve though. you just have to constantly be aware of the number of cards both players control and in their hands and it's also easier since you have a controlled variable in constructing your extra deck to target specific levels. so once you remember those all you have to do is keep track of the Total number of cards in play to fully resolve it.

      @@Gilgamesh-em6ru And you have to run that calculation and thinking about how to win the game withint 10, 15 minute of a turn. And God forbit you suck at math

      @@alexander3364 tbh this card requires very basic math. You are solving 2 very basic math problems but it's so wordy people think it's complicated

    • @alexander3364
      @alexander3364 4 місяці тому

      @@Gilgamesh-em6ru It is not really about solving the math problem, but actually have enough mental energy to watch for the board state for that correct resolution constantly and have to plan ahead to fight your opponent using your current card. For some people it might be fun time fun games and some can find a way to cheese it. But in a real duel where you have to think tons of stuff, running that constant calculation in the background is not really a good strategy to win.

    I resolved it thrice, and it only one me a game once.

    The problem with the card is that your opponent can mess with the math by chaining cards

    • @imnotacat5299
      @imnotacat5299 9 місяців тому +5

      Yeah but since all you do on activation is declare a number 1-6, you can potentially still pick a monster on their field to give you the needed result, assuming they have monsters on the field with different levels ofc 😂

    • @renaldyhaen
      @renaldyhaen 9 місяців тому +1

      No, they cannot. The declared number is part of the effect, and you do the calculation immediately after you declare the number. If your opponent do something, you just need to use your brain and re-calculate the number once again.

    • @imnotacat5299
      @imnotacat5299 9 місяців тому +4

      @@renaldyhaen no, you don't. Look at where the semicolon is. Your opponent has the opportunity to respond after you have declared a number 1-6.

    whats good about this card is that you can activate it say any number show any random equation that does not have to be correct and get the desired result and then dare the opponent disprove you with their yugioh math skills see how many times you can get away with it XD

    I wanted to put this card into a deck so bad, but ran into two big problems. First, it can just be Ash'd. If your opponent realizes that it's going to happen and you'd spin a bunch of their cars but they have an Ash, they can just negate it. Second, if you opponent has anything they can chain to change the number of cards on their field, they can do that to just negate it. If your opponent has 2 monsters and a set S/T, if they're able to activate the S/T (even if it won't really have any effect, like chaining Cosmic Cyclone to target Linear Equation Cannon,) then all the sudden the number of cards they control has changed and so your equation is wrong and you burn yourself.
    The card is a fun idea, but with how prevalent Ash is and how often it's possible to chain a card to remove a card from your own field, it makes this pretty much unplayable.
