Yes! Please play this at locals! I've been trying to learn this deck through simulators, but the lines are so complex and varied, would love to see you put the deck in action!
You are thinking of it wrong, this deck isn't about lines. The deck is composed entirely of what you could call "tool box" cards. Because of that, it doesn't really have much of an end board aside from making Garfield, but you don't need to jump hoops to do that, just search the trap. With that said, every single Purrely game is entirely different. It's entirely dependent on what you draw, what your opponent draws to stop you, and what board you have to break. I don't think the deck is something you can teach to play optimally through any video. You will just need to practice against the current meta and maybe an in-person coach if you are having a lot of trouble.
I was LITERALLY last night telling a new guy at locals to build Purrely because everything just got reprinted, and I *guessed* it would be about $20 to build. Looks like I hit the nail on the head. Haha
This is my favorite series from the channel. As a player with limited funds this helps out so much! Providing great budget recommendations and deep dives on tech choices from a well renowned multi YCS Champion. Please keep it up!
Purrely has been my go to deck for a while online, and I'm glad that with the Rarity collection 2 reprints the deck got dirty cheap for every single card in the archetype. Only downside is sometimes it is hard to find copies of Epurrely Noir even for sale as DUNE did horribly, but Purrely is a very strong deck atm. If you're willing to splurge a bit more, adding Crossout Designator (also way cheaper since Rarity Collection 2) does wonder to protect you from a lot of things.
Since you have built in protection from imperm, veiler and mourner, I'm not too sure why crossout would be that great. Would be funny to side in a D. barrier going second and use crossout to negate it, but honestly I don't think this deck is too vulnerable to hand traps, and it's not like you'll be playing the mirror match too often either.
I finish it yesterday, finally accessible but fun powerful beater going second or huge tower going first, while having a nice and cute game design literally giving your pet good memories (the quick spell being photos btw) to him to make him better and happier, you transform according to My friend and Street a poor little creature lost and/or abandoned in a city into a happy and strong pet who will defend you.
Great vid, been playing this deck for a while. One thing I'll say regarding discard engines is that I think they're really good for learning the deck as they help you keep up card advantage while summoning. However, the discard engines can be underwhelming if you are in a position where you don't have enough quick plays and you just have dead cards in hand. I would rather have something impactful in more situations that I can afford to discard instead of a card that's only good when I have quick plays to pitch them with.
I'm no expert at purrely but I've been playing it on and off for a while now (since we got baby noir). This deck has helped me improve at the game by an insane margin. And anyone who has success with this deck will tell you it isnt easy to master. But it's worth the time investment. The skill ceiling is very high. Can't recommend the cats enough
I want this deck to get new support sooooo badly... I wanna see the base forms and rank 7s for Beauty and Plump, and maybe even start seeing further evolved rank 12s... not to mention the other unused attributes!
I’ve played purrely off and on I’ve done isnane with it in March and decided to just keep playing it cause it has improved my gameplay alot and my thought process through control decks alot and it’s been a pet deck now
I've been playing a similar list except I'm maining 3 Fenrir and 3 mourner and siding 3 Nib and 3 Ogre. Thank you for the list and insight on deckbuilding. Would love to see a locals run with this.
Sadly no longer 20 bucks lol but I do like Jesse helping people who don’t have a deck to play competitively thanks to Jesse finding cheap alternatives for people. I picked this deck up dirt cheap I’d try it guys
Hey I've been buying the cards for this deck. As soon as the pre-orders were reasonable I bought all the Purrely cards from RC2 in Ultra(idc about higher rarities tbh). Today most of the rest of the cards will get here. Mostly excited because they're cute cards but to be as strong as they are too is a MASSIVE bonus.
Finally built purrely and took it to locals last week, in a weird way it almost feels like playing old sky striker (pre linkage but when the halq -> selene -> accesscode line was still legal) but just more updated for the modern game, been a while since ive played something modern thats a proper midrange deck that can still have a super aggressive going second turn
I’m loving testing out Spright Purrely. This is a surprisingly nice combo, and really boosts the cap of the deck. A play set of Spright Blue is €50 though, and you REALLY want S:P for the Spright side. Still, super fun for me. Doesn’t have a lot of non engine space though.
I've been telling any new players to pick this deck up. For there to be a deck with a perfect mix of power, complexity, and versatility available at solid prices is so incredible. I'd definitely recommend this now over any current 3-of structure deck, and that's not even a jab at current structure decks, because they're all quite good to great for a starting competitive deck. Purrely is just much better.
My main gripe with Purrely is that the only Spell with immediate offensive potential is the battle protection one's utility in setting up OTKs, so most of the time you just spending cards on special summoning, something Runick does without having to discard(they CAN discard one for Fountain, but Tip means that isn't always necessary and Fountain is MUCH better at renewing resources quickly). But on the other hand, all of the Purrely XYZs have good effects for controlling the board, and the influence effects on the Spell Cards helps make up for their weak primary effects(stacking Sleepy Memorys can be especially wild off an EpNoir Leap setup). That makes it REALLY important to get to ANY of your XYZs(not just ExNoir, all of them are important aside from maybe ExHappiness which is still NICE to have for a low effort OTK line), but leaves a pretty obvious choke point in stopping players from getting to their XYZs.
I saw your purrley deck in the master duel event and I thought it was really interesting so i built it. Gotta say i have no idea how this works lol. The main issue ive been having is remembering WHEN to do things. Ive definitely missed out on a few attach because i was clicking to fast, and also accidentally used the quick play that was supposed to go on my purrley. Other than that i do like the deck, ive been playing mostly swordsoul tenyi and i am quite a bit better with that one
Thanks very much for this video I am getting back into the game and your explanations are great and considering more budget friendly players is super nice. Thanks again
Purrely is good into the meta ? While people playing Dimensional barrier ogre crow and tons of ht in general. Also tenpai running santa claws. Also it's soo unforgiving to missplays
What are the best replacements for the 2 Prosperities? I saw someone using black goat laughs (which I already have for my Resonator deck). Should you just run this decklist with 40 cards? (If im not mistaken it was 41 before)
Just for this video 😂 Purrely if it wasn't for the discard cost, it would be a very solid deck, but the discard is really painful, and with cards like ghost ogre (and every damn ht out there) in the format, it won't have a good place in the meta
Ghost mourner says if a card leaves the field they loose life points equal to the attack, my attack is in use said negated card to xyz summon does that count as leaving the field?
could someone send me a complee (updated) decklist (as cheap as possible) i wanna start playing the game with some of my coworkers and they bought multiple started decks and build one deck from them

Please do the locals video with Purrely. I wanna see how well it works. Also, what about crossout? Deck seems too fragile to 2 or more handtraps to me. Especially since you have to discard a card every time you wanna special a cat
Just built a ghost trick purrely deck and OMG. Leaves a ton of room for non engine while providing a good negate + steal and fodder to go back into purrely plays.
I could see you topping with this deck. I like this deck myself I just feel like hand traps work very well against it. I would love to see you play this deck at locals

Well, the reason that Swordsoul is chosen as the "beginner deck" is specifically BECAUSE any bone head can win games with Mo Ye.
