Update! I got SOME of the math wrong and in the current version of Lab I am playing, I cut TYPHON for a level 6 (It can be Garura or Berfomet depending on if you want the draw or ability to play through SP). Here is the CORRECT and UPDATED math! Level 4: (3,1) [7] Level 5: (3,2) [8] (4,1)[9] Level 6: (5,1) [11] (4,2) [10] (3,3) [9] Level 7: (6,1) [13] (5,2) [12] (4,3) [11] (3,4) [10] Level 8: (6,2) [14] (5,3) [13] (4,4) [12] (3,5) [11] Level 9: (6,3) [15] (5,4) [14] (4,5) [13] (3,6) [12] Level 10: (6,4) [16] (5,5) [15] (4,6) [14] Level 11: (6,5) [17] (5,6) [16] Level 12: (6,6) [18]
2MLv - CoF = Fusion Lv to banish (CoF - Fusion Lv)/2 = XyZ rank to banish LEGEND: CoF: Cards on The Field and in Both hands MLv: Opponents Monster Level Those are the equations if anyone wants to just plug in the numbers faster
Equation (B) "counts" Rank or Level on the field. In your example, you tell it only counts Levels, that's wrong. There is much more Data, Best-Practice and simplification you didn't talked about.
Imagine playing this at locals. You may get the math wrong, but as long as you sound confident that you are right, your opponent or even judge are likely to let it resolve.
Absolutely NOT XD if I see that I’m immediately whipping these formulas out and plugging in the numbers to confirm he aint BS’ing 2MLv - CoF = Fusion Lv to banish (CoF - Fusion Lv)/2 = XyZ rank to banish
Here are the actual equations for anyone who just wants to plug in the numbers quickly as needed, 2MLv - CoF = Fusion Lv to banish (CoF - Fusion Lv)/2 = XyZ rank to banish LEGEND CoF = All Cards on the Field and in Both Hands MLv = Opponents monster level
I'd prefer to simplify it into Rank = Total Cards - target Monster Level and Fusion Level = Target Monster Level - Rank. If any of these results are negative, you can't activate it.
I figured out when you can activate that and do nuke but if I spill it, you guys would just like ahhh and it is just easier to anyone to play through it
2MLv - CoF = Fusion Lv to banish (CoF - Fusion Lv)/2 = XyZ rank to banish These formulas are better, because you can just plug in and if you have the right rank and levels you can activate it if not then nope
Tl;dr it's just Cards in hand and field (A) - Level of one monster in field (B) = the Xyz rank you have to banish (X) then Level of that monster in field (B) minus the Xyz rank you banished (X) is the Fusion level you have to banish (Y) 2x + y = A x + y = B x = A - B
Tl;dr he obviously can’t do basic high school pre call here’s the right formula’s Here’s the actual equation to make it easier for you to just put numbers in a calculator 2MLv - CoF = Fusion Lv to banish (CoF - Fusion Lv)/2 = XyZ rank to banish MLv: Opponent Monster Level CoF: Cards on Field and in Hands
y = 2x + b c = x + b... unless you have more fusion/xyz monsters banished y is the number of cards in hands and in the field x is the Xyz monsters' rank b is the Fusion monster's level and c is the level/rank of a monster the opponent has. tl:dr Daruma Cannon is still better

do you have a full list of what ED monsters are needed for the whole list?
im lost boss :(
Never thought we'd be discussing math to play Lab,but here we are

We should welcome SEC to the "weird Lab techs" group, even mod them. Transmission Gear is one of the mods.
I'd prefer to simplify it into Rank = Total Cards - target Monster Level and Fusion Level = Target Monster Level - Rank. If any of these results are negative, you can't activate it.
this is still too much to think about (or maybe i just got way more stupid over the years)

"Equation Cannons" archetype where?
Looks like we bringing a cheatsheet and a calculator to our locals, lesgooo
Next time some Kid in School asks when we need Math in real Life just show them this Card
Actually, you can use the Rank of your opponent's monster. Just not Link Rating
Ah yeah that should be an important note too...
Actually
You need to have a PhD in mathematics to play Labrynth
🤓
I'll gladly play trap labrynth when konami prints a board wipe that's both good and doesn't requires me to memorize a graph other than daruma
Torrential tribute
3 torrential tribute not once per turn goat
Man... I could be playing ER right now...
I‘m not shocked, that an Asian guy tells me how to do math😂😂😂🗿
play this in paleo and watch you average game time go through the roof
Fuck how did I get back into Math lab. From a real teacher and everything how did this happen and why am I confused.
Thank you
All I know is that this card is going to cause HELLA slow play.
Tl;dr it's just Cards in hand and field (A) - Level of one monster in field (B) = the Xyz rank you have to banish (X)
then Level of that monster in field (B) minus the Xyz rank you banished (X) is the Fusion level you have to banish (Y)
2x + y = A
x + y = B
x = A - B
Tl;dr he obviously can’t do basic high school pre call here’s the right formula’s

2MLv - CoF = Fusion Lv to banish
(CoF - Fusion Lv)/2 = XyZ rank to banish
MLv: Opponent Monster Level
CoF: Cards on Field and in Hands
If you chain something to remove the monster on your field that has the level/rank for the equation does it still resolve
Best part
There is a similar card that let you mill and shuffle your opponents feilds
That one is BP only so it's garbage
I play lab so I'm gonna start running this
I'm never resolving this card. And I'm fine with that.
Loved the vid, thanks!
this is cool
*Currently playing the DLC as im watching today’s class*
But can this work in dinomorphia?
Didnt watch vid but aren't the equations litterally,
2x+y=A
x+y=B
Or am I just wrong?
Now do linear equation cannon
that card is literally impossible to set up for no ty
As a magic player... WTF!?
Matlab 😊
Wait, so what does this card do? 😂
y = 2x + b
c = x + b... unless you have more fusion/xyz monsters banished
y is the number of cards in hands and in the field
x is the Xyz monsters' rank
b is the Fusion monster's level
and c is the level/rank of a monster the opponent has.
tl:dr Daruma Cannon is still better
its a board banish with 1 extra pile monster for cost essentially. the opponent can also just chain literally anything to screw up your math
@@MysticalRefpanellovely gives some protection
If you fulfill the second requirement, you can board nuke so easy
@@MysticalRefpanel how would that happen?
Xshippai explained it better
Heh, MathLab 👀🤣
so were hard scooping vs centurion...yikes
