the aneurysm is of the abdominal aorta. so bob opened up the abdomen. if you had to criticise this scene, it seems extremely unlikely that they would have an aorta clamp available in the ER sitting right there at hand. but that is what makes TV great!! dreams and fantasy all come true.
They knew the problem and were prepping to operate there, all they needed was a surgeon to do it, so of course they'd have gotten an aortic clamp along with all the other necessary equipment
Wasn't she also in an episode with Michael Ironside where he was presenting a case to a class and 'Bob', tho not a member of the class, knew the answer to the question posed by Michael?
What exactly is Linda pounding on if Bob opened up the chest? I love this episode because we find out Bob is like, WHOA and she finds out she can still operate. =) Thanks for posting this, it's awesome!
I wish we saw more of "Bob" in the series.
Sadly this was her last appearance, shame too, I would've liked to see her continue as well
@@FerretJohn I think she had one more appearance in Season 2.

THIS EPISODE ROCKED
So true. My favroite is either this or 9 1/2 hours - that scene where Ross confronted Benton on the roof - incredible.
Carter is always thinking of others.
Polish saving the day since September 12th 1683.
Randomly remembered this episode and the "Bob! Bob! What are you doing?!?" today. So glad to find it. Epic!
Wendy was freaking out.
I remember Bob and Patrick....
I really liked her character and had hoped that she would return to the show or, at the least, keep in contact with Carter.
