Teamwork improves the overall quality of care, enhances patients safety, reduces work load on team members. Assessing and evaluating the needs of the resident as a team enhances the plan of care.
I do believe in teamwork. And in the facility in which i work do offer teamwork. Either it be the social worker or nursing, or therapy department are real good in offering suggestions or helping with residents. As i do work in a smaller nursing home.
What? Nothing about the Activity Department? Not even a Recreation Therapist mentioned? They just had a dance activity with residents! Man, we almost always get no respect! I thought, maybe, at least one of those commonwealth countries with clown therapy being a thing (though maybe a volunteer thing) would have room at the table for a more established department of therapeutic recreation, even if an activities professional might or might not be a requirement.
teamwork is the key to a successful activtity director .residents love to see all team members involed .and I am thankful that our team is on board
