Hi Miranda, such a great video! I'm a librarian @Massey University in New Zealand and part of a team creating an open (that is, free) online textbook on Critical Health Psychology. We'd like permission to include this video in one of the chapters. Would you be willing? Very happy to provide more information!

Teamwork improves the overall quality of care, enhances patients safety, reduces work load on team members. Assessing and evaluating the needs of the resident as a team enhances the plan of care.

What? Nothing about the Activity Department? Not even a Recreation Therapist mentioned? They just had a dance activity with residents! Man, we almost always get no respect! I thought, maybe, at least one of those commonwealth countries with clown therapy being a thing (though maybe a volunteer thing) would have room at the table for a more established department of therapeutic recreation, even if an activities professional might or might not be a requirement.

Why is this video registered under "COMEDY"? A know several men that suffer from this horrible condition! Several? No, I guess its almost ALL men that I know. Until now, I just thought they were goddam lazy SELFISH BASTARDS! Now I know better! Thanks, Professor Argonaut! I would explain much more here now, but I must run out to pick up a case of beer for my new boyfriend. This one is a keeper!

I do believe in teamwork. And in the facility in which i work do offer teamwork. Either it be the social worker or nursing, or therapy department are real good in offering suggestions or helping with residents. As i do work in a smaller nursing home.

OK if 43% of women suffer from this, and 1/3 of all women have done at least one course of antidepressants, and antidepressants kill sex drive (known fact) - how much of this push for "female viagra" is in response to side effects of antidepressants? 43% - 33% = perhaps 10% of women actually have a difficulty not iatrogenically induced. Maybe less, if you factor in statins, high blood pressure medicine, etc. AND OH GOD, they want to GIVE an antidepressant for this? OMG!

Thanks for the idea for April Fool's Day, 2015. I had to use the "spaghetti harvest" one from BBC this year. Oh yeah....you had me fooled for awhile. I was ready to go up in arms again but then I relaxed when I fully got the joke.

guys, it's just a joke, it was originally to show the power of medicine today (because we absorb everything directly without any questioning), and the blow was so well mounted even the british medical journal published the article (they also refused to removed it even after pranksters have unveiled the truth because they apparently felt a little ill and felt that the protocol was correct .. ), pharmaceutical laboratories have sought contacted the doctor (which actually does not even exist) for the exclusivity of the drug .. (sorry for my bad english)

I think I need a new drug, I need this new drug, give me drugs, LOL, that's how stupid people are, you need nutrients, to eat right and quit consuming chemical flavorings, that's why you are sick, not because your body lacks drugs.

Humans can have dysfunction in the body, such as IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), which can be debilitating, and we don't treat that as a character flaw. Why is it that if the dysfunction is in the brain, people can't believe in it and mock it? I have never had IBS, but would never tell somebody to drink a cup of coffee and get over it. We have machines to detect IBS, whereas medical science for the brain hasn't progressed to that level yet, but it will someday, so quit mocking in the mean time

I think this video was real. I think I have it. If I dont, then I am just, perhaps, a lost cause. I graduated high school with a 1.7 GPA, first year of college I got a a 2.3 GPA, second 0.0 GPA, third 1.6 GPA. I am currently in 3 classes for 15 units and have not been going. I have been fired from every job I have always for not showing up and being late. Right now I am 21, have no freinds because I dont feel like talking to them or going out. So yea I really hope its real.

Exactly. I'm doing Pharmacy and this (in its full-length DVD) was actually part of a sociology lecture, where we saw how people simply "made up" diseases, to gain fame (for the researchers) and economic advantage (for the pharmaceutical companies). It's called medicalisation -i.e. turning everyday issues into a "medical" problem.
