@@liveworkdream Did you post a video on your interior? I would love to see that. BTW. My wife and I just got back a couple weeks ago from our 10,600ish mile trip to Alaska and back in our 1999 Chinook Concourse. I hope you have as great a trip as we did.

If you build these project M’s out, why not just buy a slide in?
Great question! Well, we love our built-out M for many reasons. For starters, we get to leave our tailgate on the truck. This allows us to keep our truck as a truck, and not just a recreational vehicle sitting in our driveway gathering dust (or in our case, snow, all winter long). Also, the M is super lightweight, and you can go even more places that the ordinary slide in cannot. Also, we designed it how we wanted, not some manufacturer. Then of course, there's the price. You can't get a high-quality pre-owned slide in for the price of a new M. Finally, the M is a terrific option for folks who have light duty trucks like Tacomas. As much as we love FWC's slide in models, and might just end up with one someday, right now, the M is perfect for our camping and traveling needs. Thanks for asking!

You can utilize the entire truck bed as a truck while keeping the topper on the truck!
