Kia has unveiled a refreshed 2024 Sorento with new exterior styling, interior upgrades, and a new X-Pro off-road trim.
The Sorento is expected to go on sale in the first quarter of 2024 in LX, S, EX, SX, and SX-P trims,
The X-Pro trim is geared for off-roading with an increased towing capacity up to 4,000 lbs, unique 17-inch wheels, and all-terrain tires.
The exterior gets changes to exterior lighting, with a more upright design and the interior has been upgraded substantially to have a more premium feel, which includes things like an optional panoramic curved display.
Available in FWD and AWD, performance remains consistent with a 2.5L or turbo 2.5L engine. The X-Pro gets enhancements like a locking differential, torque vectoring, and 281 horsepower - matched to an 8-speed DCT transmission.
Hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric models are anticipated to hit dealerships later in 2024.
