I think the engine can only be damaged by breaking the hood from running zombies over, then with no hood the engine takes the hits, when they clasp at the windows the only danger seems to be if you smash the driver's side window
The windshield keeps you from getting hot, cold or wet from the elements. So if you do a cryogenic winter playthroguh, driving without a windshield is like walking outside.
I would like to see how you gathered all the loot like where there still zeds after words and how you made your base this is a true masterpiece it amazes me after playing the game for so long what you can do with it :)

I mean it is pretty cheesy, i think cars should be able to catch on fire and burn down, cars burn all the time, and zombies should be able to crawl into the car at some point. This and the rooftops bridging strats i find are pretty cheesy; they should be patched but also give us new things like navigable water

Would be Hilarious if someone set fire to the whoe Prison zed pop. and even a day after they Burnt to the last one, the Internal Temp is enough to COOK the Player in minutes inside, that's if what i said comes.

you can still drive a car with 0% engine its just not very fast going 5 feet at a time. you should do a video exploiting the fence at the louisville prison. its a tall fence with no gates or windows leading into to it. a true safe spot

I tried this with environmental attacks on and I don't think I've been more scared in a videogame in my life and I've played through a good bit of horror games. A zombie randomly broke my window and I instantly got swarmed in the middle of the night while watching TV.

Something comparable to this in cataclysm dark days ahead would be 200% zombie stats with 5 times the zombie spawn and max evolution from the start, starting naked and as an imperceptive healer with just basic stats in the wilderness. Or maybe this is even harder?😅 I tryed that a couple of times but managed to survive though.:) Also what you do would not work in cdda, because you would just burn to death and your car would be smashed to a pulp and burned as well.

Especially servers have the fire spread* disabled so the world is not burnt down. But I think this is the only way to deal with (a lot of) 24 hr sprinters.
so, the engine only gets damaged when you drive through zombies... in the past, you could turn your engine off and take ZERO damage from an impact (body included)... i hope this isnt changed... it makes sense.

I have thought of starting a fire then spread that fire in game from town to town up to LV
