I feel like you can be a Tiktoker who does product reviews, but you also need a full-time job to have a supplemental income. The message from the video should have been that you can juggle between your passions and obligations.
That’s actually what a lot of people have to do. Take someone like Rslash here on UA-cam for instance. He said in one of his videos that before he was popular enough to make UA-cam a full time job that he had a normal 9-5 job while he worked on getting good at UA-cam. I know you shouldn’t always trust someone’s word alone but considering what he said is a common thing people have to do before making it big, I think it’s safe to say he’s telling the truth.

the problem with these kind of videos is that they’re unrealistic. the dad teaching his daughter financial responsibility is honestly understandable and reasonable. we shouldn’t encourage young individuals to always rely on a social media platform for their future. yes, it’s great to follow your passion, but it shouldn’t go as far as getting distracted ON THE JOB. when it comes to young individuals, they shouldn’t make such financially risky decisions. for example, as a young individual myself, i have a passion for video editing and i hope that it becomes my career path in the future, but i don’t completely rely on social media cuz failure is always possible. that’s why i make sure my grade averages are at least a 90%, which is what townsend harris, the school i want to go to, expects from students. see how i’m actually being realistic with my future? the kids who want to become youtubers, or tiktokers in these videos apparently ALWAYS become successful, which is honestly a joke and extremely unrealistic. like- who actually watches product reviewers nowadays? 🤣 anyways, good for you if you actually read this far TvT 👍🏻 i just realized i wrote a whole paragraph- 🗿
