I really appreciate the fact that you've recorded this demo using a "budget" instrument.
What does that mean? A person handed me a "HONDO" bass. I looked at him like he had 3 and 1 half eyes. I played it. My oh my. This bass sounded AMAZING. Jimmy Page used a "SEARS" guitar on the album "PRESENCE". Sounds pretty good to me!
@@aldito7586 ... Most of The Reviewers Out There get $2000, and up, worth guitar and demo sth. using it.
This makes it easier - to show how good the effects sound -doesn't it?
Dave on the other hand uses "scientific" method of showing/playing the sounds using different price level instruments.
This makes his reviews even more credible.
Another thing is that those HarleyBentons really do deliver (even though on the inexpensive side).
I have got my hands on their 7-string, fanned fret Tele and it makes me smile each time when I grab it and play.
Nathan, you're the perfect salesman because anything you play sounds awesome! That Harley Benton alone sounded like a boutique bass in your hands. ;)
The slap sounded crazy man
Perfect for Rugrats theme song! Thanks!
you're the best Nathan ,
much thanks
I gotta say no distortion no fuzz box just clean bass going through this superb device. He did chords!! The guys playing guitars didn't do chords. Not all musicians are in a situation where we use distortion maybe something like this bit of kit here.
I Play bass and would like to buy something that does just what this device does.
It's perfect for my needs. I work for a church and this is just the thing I need to tastey things up as it were.
You are a great demo guy. Just what I wanted to hear how I wanted to hear it. My deepest thank yous to a real player. Play On sir!!!

The guy is INSANE! Quick. Get a Straight Jacket!!!
its good for metal duel guitar? i mean like the solos of avenged sevenfold?
please answer, thanks :)
Is it good tracking for bass as pitch shifter without harmonies?
Great job. 1:30 what all effects are you using?
Thx
1:28 I almost died xdddddddddd
Again, but without the pedal. Your playstyle is beautiful man.
Молодец
What the fock is that last setting? It is so fcking cool!
Why should I buy pedals if I can use VST. I don't know alot about this stuff. Someone please explain
Damon Kutt explain vst and I might be able to help
I think a lot of people would say that pedals sound better or more authentic. Personally I use digital stuff for everything, but I also don't really have a great ear for tone. One other factor is that pedals let you quickly and easily engage or disengage effects. You can buy midi foot switches to simulate this as well with digital stuff, but switching effects with pedals is very simple. Lastly, pedals + amp + guitar/bass is a standard gigging setup, and that's a goal for a lot of people. Software based setups are certainly doable, but maybe require a bit more thought or something along those lines.
Captain Castaway using computer to create the sounds. Rather than buying pedals there are free computer stuff called VST with which you can get any sound u want
Needed the Mario theme played through that.
proof that you dont need a 2k worth bass you just need a 2k worth set of talent
Add delay and it will sound so trippy
Hi Nathan, have you modded that Benton?
Yo! Nope, it's stock.
Nathan Navarro right, I’m getting the pj vintage one👍🏻
Play Super Mario dude.lol
Quality video.
Nathan, I feel bad for you, there is always this one person who dis likes your video 👌
Was that delay combined?
From 1:20.. Is it tracking with some time delay?
That's right! The delay is built into the Quintessence's Tone Print 3 settings.
@@NateNavarro sounds really amazing!!
Holy shit it sounds like alien stuff
🇹🇭😊🏝️
As cool as that pedal is, its more something I would buy to screw around with for fun than use for performing. Its still cool though.
Jaco definitely would have liked Nate.
wtf man I thought you didn't have such a deep voice
Can you play guitar
Jesus that's sick!!!!!!!!!!!
AAAAA GET OUT OF MY HEAD
Can somebody explain me why the scale knob has 6 modes of major scale when you can get any mode in any key by selecting the key of the relative major (C major if you want E Phrygian, for example). Seems like a huge waste when they could have used the space for actual different scales like Harmonic/Melodic minor. One "custom" is not enough. On a positive note: Nathan absolutely rips.
Is this a man, or a machine?!
