As peruvian I appreciate you for sharing this beautiful part of our culinary. I should recommended more time marinating, and despite the fact that it might not have so much other ingredients (and I truly understand that there are not all of them over there) it looks amazing. Thank you for sharing!

I bookmarked this recipe waiting for my panca to arrive. I made it yesterday along with the aji verde. It was such a hit. My son said it was the best chicken and sauce I have ever made. He was right. I saw the chicken on a travel the world eating channel and thought I must have this! Thank you for sharing your talent.
I'm so happy to read your family enjoyed it. My kids love it, too :D
@@Greenhealthycooking We finished the chicken off tonight making home made corn tortilla tacos. I used, your marinaded onions, crumble cheese and the aji sauce. I made corn chips for dipping. Thank you so much. Everything was a taste treat delight.
I have eaten this dish for years and love it every time. It's insane that I can now make it. My family loved it and it was as good as any restaurant. Thanks so much for sharing.

This looks yummy!
Felicitaciones 😀
More interested in the sauce rather than the chicken itself
so funny thats what brought me here! lol
such good instructions for an amateur cook.
Muchas gracias Maria Elena.

Gurl your seasoning 🧂 is just right for this chicken 🍗 yummy 😋 I need to taste 👅 it right away okay
hey thanks for the recipe, it looks delish! want to try making it for dinner tomorrow, what would you suggest having on the side? i was thinking potatoes or rice but dont want to destroy the dish! trying to keep it traditional :)
I answer this question in detail in the blog post :) You can serve with anything really though. I personally serve with Peruvian Green Rice.
I want aji verde hot sauce 🔥🔥🔥
The real recype is entire chicken over fire 🔥
🤤
what's a good substitute for the beer in the marinade?
chicken stock :) The link in the description takes you to the full blog post and printable recipe. In my blog posts I always list subsitution ideas for most ingredients in any recipe you'll find on my youtube channel.
bro made pants for the chicken hahaha
This aji panca and aji Amarillo I check it here in the philippines I can't find it what I can substitute for it thank you God Bless
I'm sorry, but I'm not too familiar with Phillipinian cuisine. I don't know what comparable things you have there. Ají panca is a paste made of a very mild chili pepper, almost like bell pepper and ají amarillo is a paste made of a chili that is a bit stronger but not crazy strong. In the end you could also just omit and use some sort of chili powder you can get your hands on. It will still be delicious without the Peruvian chilis and just a little chili powder instead.
You can replace them with a little bit of another chili that you have available but in the end you don't feel that the chicken is spicy. You can follow the rest of the recipe as she indicates in the video. By the way, congratulations to the lady who kindly shared this iconic recipe from Peru.
jajajajaja
Ok, my mouth is watering as you cut that chicken. Whole foods sell chicken already spatchcocked, which helps. Wait a second, I have to learn how to say those 2 ingredients so i can share this recipe, lol. will probably have to order these online. Never heard of them. In the spice dish I think i saw oregano which you didnt mention is that with the rosmary?
Yes! Oregano. Sorry, forgot to mention it. The link in the description takes you to the full printable recipe.
@@Greenhealthycooking yes i checked and was on amazon ordering when i realized the paste is hot, I was so upset,i dont like spicy ,but i was in love with your marinade and technique, can you make a similar marinated chicken with this much flavor, I would love to try it. thanks so much for the quick response. I enjoy your channel. J
@@jeanineskitchen2607 the ají panca isn’t hot. Only the ají amarillo is and you could simply use a lot less. With these amounts used in my recipe my kids eat it :)
@@Greenhealthycooking ok good to know i may give it a try your recipe looked amazing!!!! Thank you for all your help and info, appreciated!
Watched 10 seconds. Subbed
thank you :)
Can we have the deatails ma'am thanks..so Ican cook it too ..shout out from Philippines

So how do you do it how do you prepare how do you make it what's the temperature I like to know
the link in the description takes you to the full written and printable recipe
Will this be OK if I just use chicken thighs with the bone?
Yes! Works perfectly.
What could i substitute for beer?
broth :)
I’m Peruvian and I’ve never had that green sauce. I only see them in recipes in english
For non-alcoholic drinkers is there an alternative to the beer?
yes, you can simply use chicken broth instead :)
What kind of dark beer? Anyone please 🙏?
Any kind. You can even use light beer. Since you are using little I recommend using your favorite beer so you can drink the rest of the bottle :)
Your powder ingredients in the bowl look like five different condiments but you only mention four: cumin, rosemary, salt & pepper. Am I missing anything here? Thank you!
Yes, you are right! I forgot to mention oregano. The link in the description takes you to the full printable recipe. Always go by the written recipe. I recite my recipes by heart for the videos and sometimes mess up.
Metric units to this recipe would have been appreciated
is there a way to do it without the plastic bag? trying to reduce waste
You can make it in a bowl but unfortunately it's not the same because the marinade just flows to the bottom of the bowl. I reuse the same bag at least 10 times before it's unusable. You just flip it inside out and wash it well with soap and water and hang it to dry over a spatuala to keep it open and dripping.
Y este tiguere!? 😂😂
"tiguere"?
As Peruvian born and raised I’d say that amount of ingredients for one chicken is not enough and lacking some other ingredients as well . If anyone wants the chicken juicy is best to keep the chicken whole and marinated for a whole day or the entire night and is best to do it in an over rather than the grill . It looks good but I don’t know if that chicken would taste like the one is made in restaurants 😢
Jealous??? Just say which ingredients are missing instead of criticise!!! 🤬🤬🤬
That part 😂😂😂 shes clearly a hater @@maso126
@@kitlove1247 Not really. Actually she is warning some viewers against too high expectations on the results. While mexican food can be prepared in a casual way, peruvian food requires some attention to little details in order for it to be tasteful and delicious. Peruvian cuisine depends too much on balance and equilibrium. Still this is a good straightforward recipe and will be very much appreciated by the american public. On the other hand, latinos may have a different POV, given this is a simplified version of a peruvian dish.
It's amazing in the rotisserie oven too marinated overnight. Delicious 😋
Perfect. I don’t have a grill
She lost me at beer… what the hell
You’ve never had a beer can chicken then… what the hell
I hate beer so why would I have anything with beer in it axxhole@@rm709
好棒
Congratulations for your recipe👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 It is the more complete and best I have found in youtube 🙏🏻 I will also try the « ají salsa » 😋❤
My pleasure 😊
