It's pure Money-Ball "I'm smarter than everybody else in the NBA and I can find all these great rotation players who will be ready to play key roles on a championship roster in the late 1st and 2nd round!" 29 other GMs are trying to emulate Boston and find trades and FA acquisitions like Porzingis, Holiday and Derrick White. Meanwhile the Nuggets are screwing around giving contracts to guys who don't play and adding the most marginal long shot FAs because their salary cap is in total hell and the team utterly lacks tradeable assets! They won a title by adding veterans in Bruce Brown, Jeff Green and KCP. And then tried to replace them with young guys like Julian Strawther or Peyton Watson who might become good in their 5th year in the NBA like Bruce Brown did, or Isiah Joe is doing in OKC. Except they are not a developmental team! They are just wasting Jokic's top 12 All-Time Hall of Fame career! This plan is simply UN-Workable! It never made any sense. That's why I would pull the plug on Calvin Booth right now and promote a new GM from within who will trade some of the young pieces to go out and get veterans who can help Jokic right now -- exactly like Dallas did last year for Luca by adding Kyrie Irving, Daniel Gafford Derrick Lively, and PJ Washington and then this season trading for Klay Thompson! Now THAT is some FA acquisitions that can help right now!

What do you guys think of a trade for Matisse Thybulle? He's injured atm but getting him would definitely improve our defense.
