all I can think off right now is the high cost of replacing the ink in my regular printer.
can it be used for full shirt printing?
The platen is 14”x18”. If you would like to cover an area larger than that, you can certainly do multiple passes.
I just started screen printing. Its something you gotta learn, its not for everyone.
I'm sure you gotta learn a couple things with this too but dang its hella tight tho.

Hi, do you have to pre treat the garment before place it on the printer??
Pretreatment is recommended when you are printing on dark t-shirts and/or using white ink. Pretreatment does help the ink better adhere to the fabric and helps colors stand out a little better so you do have the option to pretreat lighter color shirts, but it is really only necessary when using white ink.

What the quality as far as washing and drying?...will the print quality remain good?...
Hi millahd33! The print should last the lifetime of the garment. With an AnaJet printer, the ink is actually embedded into the fabric so if the fabric begins to deteriorate, so will the print. The higher quality of garment you use, the longer the print will last.

You can print pretty much any image. One of the benefits of this machine is its ability to be able to print a lot of detail. It does come with AnaRIP, a software that enables you to send the graphics to the printer, as well as Spark, which will allow you to create and customize graphics. The printer will only print one shirt at a time, but it is very fast and efficient so we do have some customers that will print large quantities on the printer within a given day. Does AnaRIP work for the Sprint? On the website, it indicates it is for the mPower machines.
No, AnaRIP will only work on the mPower printers. The EKPrint Studio can be used with the Sprint printers, though, and it is available to download on our site at anajet.com/technical-support-login/programs-downloads (scroll down to the Sprint section).

Hi +Aashish Chandel! We're not sure if we understand your question, but here is some more information about the printers. These printers can print pretty much any color you need. They use both CMYK as well as white ink cartridges. Standard cmyk cartridges can yield 300-500 prints depending on the size and settings used for the graphic. White ink cartridges will last between 100-150 prints. The print on the shirt should last the lifetime of the garment.
Does it work for hoodies as well or just t-shirts?
For hoodies, t-shirts, jeans, cats...... pillow.
Are the prints waterproof or will it bleed if in contact with water
Hi GamersUnited, once the ink is cured underneath a heat press or tunnel dryer, you are able to wash it. Thanks!

Our printers can only print on leather if it is unfinished/untreated. If the leather has any coating, the ink won’t print correctly onto the leather and will not cure.

AnaJet no longer sells the Sprint model, but the AnaJet mPower series can print a typical light shirt graphic in less than one minute. These printers can print any design and color combination that you can load into the proprietary AnaRIP software, which accepts most digital file formats.
can i use a regular printer and buy that type of paper?
Hi +jordan alvarez! You can't print directly onto a garment using a regular printer. Heat transfer is one way to apply a design to a t-shirt, but it is a much more time-consuming process and heat transfer prints won't last very long whereas a design applied with a DTG printer will last the lifetime of the garment.

The inks for AnaJet printers are also about half the price of other brands so you will be saving a lot of money on ink costs in the long run.

What Is the maximum production the printer gives..
The typical print speed for a 12" x 10" graphic on a light garment is 51-100 seconds with the Ri 3000 and 27-53 seconds with the Ri 6000. With that speed, you could print quite a few shirts per day. Why do you still heat press it?
Hello! Because the inks are water-based, the print could come off in the wash otherwise. Digitally printed shirts need to be heat cured in order to permanently adhere the ink to the garment. You can either use a heat press or a conventional oven dryer for this step.

What kind of ink you used??
The inks used are a special water-based pigmented garment ink. We actually just released a new line of Ricoh garment inks that are compatible with both the new Ricoh Ri 3000/Ri 6000 printers as well as the mPower series printers. can this print on sleeves?
Yes it can! Making sure that the sleeves stay in place while printing can be a little difficult, though, which is why we recommend using a sleeve print table. The sleeve print table is available in our store at store.anajet.com/sleeve-print-table-mpower-only.html.

Does it work on terry cloth?
Yes, it can print on terry cloth. For terry cloth, we would recommend you prepress the towel/garment before printing and we would not recommend attempting to print a hi-res image on terry cloth due to its high pile.

Hi Gary Ng! Technically, yes it can, but it would be a bit of a cumbersome process. It would take much longer to set the printer up to print on a lanyard than it would to actually print it.

The item at the end of the video is a heat press. Digitally printed shirts need to be heat cured for the ink to permanently adhere to the garment. A heat press or a conventional oven dryer will work. how could I do high volume
AnaJet printers can only print one t-shirt at a time so they are best for low-medium volume runs. They can run continuously throughout the day and print as many designs/variations as you would like, but if you are looking to do high volume runs of the same design, this may not be the best option for you.
