Nothing wrong with the battery and alignment. You have to pull the release tab out on the side. For it to work. Odd design but yes to insert the battery you have to pull the release tab as you would remove it.
I think it’s pronounced “sin-e” as in Cinema rather than “sign”, you said the same with Cinerails earlier in the week 😊, its origin is from the Greek word “Kine” which means motion.
I don't think the device is ready for a fast paced production space. There are just just a lot of shortcomings. Especially for people who have touched the Yolobox and Director Mini. Those 2 devices are highly competitive. Cinetreak needs to go back to the drawing board. Not unless they are targeting another market for $150
That's a major problem with the battery pins misaligned. I won't consider ordering before they fix that situation
I agree - I contacted them and they say they tested it, but it coudl be a random manufacturing defect that affects a subset of units? I don't know.

@@RICH_Photography You are correct.
I stand corrected. Just never encountered that before. And their tech support didn't suggest it.
UPDATE - I'm told long-press the function buttons for customization.

Thanks. I never know unless the company produces a video with how THEY want it pronounced.
@@StreamTeknology It's right on their youtube channel. 🤨 ua-cam.com/video/7bOIqBmVOm4/v-deo.html
Web overly possible in this?
@@Naresh22081web I do not believe so.

Definitely not looking like it's ready for prime time.
I just can't with this 'sign-treak'... it's 'sin-a-treak', it's literally pronounced on their youtube channel.
I've only sen 3rd party videos on their channel, nothing from the company itself.
