- Celebrated instrumentalist guitarist Angel Vivaldi introduces his latest collaboration with Charvel - the all-new Pro-Mod Signature DK24-6 Nova in Lucerne Aqua Firemist.
Known for his 7-string affinity, Vivaldi explains how this 6-string endeavor came into being in this exclusive interview.
“Like most guitarists I started out on a 6-string and wound up moving to 7-strings, almost exclusively in 2003, for the main purpose of eliminating the need to tune down or reset up my guitars,” says Vivaldi. “However, as you grow and evolve and change as a musician, it’s also really important to maybe change and re-examine the gear you use in order to do so. Enter this devastatingly gorgeous instrument.”

CHARVEL! Please put stainless steel frets on these models! Absolutely every single person I see reviewing your guitars in this price range complain about the nickel frets! Tons of these would be sold in a heartbeat if they had the stainless steel frets. I and many others are severely disappointed in this department.
Charvel should really hire Angel to work on their design and branding team. Everything in this video looks better than anything I've ever seen from Charvel. I like a lot of the specs on the Charvels, but the company has a very questionable taste level. The design and branding as a whole, just seem ridiculously outdated at times...but this video is so fresh and vibrant. Great use of color, and the guitar looks beautiful and modern. It looks much more high end and contemporary compared to other Charvels. + Angel is really well-spoken and a very convincing salesman.

It looks a hell of a lot better than a Fender, I mean don’t get me wrong I like vintage guitars and vintage guitar companies such as Gibson, Fender etc. but I really like how nicely built this guitar is, it looks really cool Angel!! Keep shredding man, I love how beautiful and how clean you play your guitar it sounds amazing, I know you are a soul artist but you’re an amazing guitarist that deserves more recognition than what you have because people like you should be recognized more even though you make a custom guitar your music stands out as well so keep making beautiful guitars and making amazing music because I really enjoy listening to your music :)

This guitar is SO close to perfection!! Swap that Bass-robbing, Sustain-stealing Basswood for Alder or Ash and I'd buy one tomorrow!!

@@greekfreak1980 It's unreal. I personally don't like basswood because it dents easily, but from a "tone" perspective it sounds just as good as any of the other species he listed.
