Dude, Hanabie ("ha-na-be-eh," four syllables) is who you REALLY need to be checking out! One of Japan's fastest-rising acts (and they are managed by Crystal Lake's drummer). They have multiple singers, and although their main singer Yukina mostly only does kawaii vocals in the Knosis song, she is primarily known for her harsh vocals, which run the range from death metal growls to black metal screeches (and she's only 4'9"). Hanabie is an all-female metalcore band that has lately been all over the European festival circuit and is curriently in the midst of a US tour. They are insane!
A great collaboration, even if I expected a little more growls and screams from Yukina. Also be sure to check out Maximum The Hormone and Atarashii Gakko's collaboration on the song Shimi, one of the best songs this year. And you have to listen to more Hanabie, for example with We Love Sweets, Tousou or Time Out. If it can be audio only, Love Ranbu, Warning and Tales Of Villain are also highly recommended.
Experimental music is almost always fantastic, and Hanabie. are true experts when it comes to experimental music, just like Hanabie.'s great idols, Maximum The Hormone. We're still hoping for a joint song from MTH and Hanabie., but first we have the very surprising collaboration between MTH and the JPop band Atarashii Gakko with a new edition of Shimi, definitely a listen. And you should definitely listen to Hanabie.'s song Warning (without music video). By the way, Hanabie. is pronounced Hah-Nah-Bee-Eh, with four syllables. If you leave out the E at the end and just say Hanabi, you get a completely different Japanese word. In addition, there is very good experimental music in Japan, not just in metalcore. Spiderweb by BRATS is an experimental rock masterpiece.
The pronunciation of "HANABIE" is actually "Hah Nah Bee Eh", this is important as Hanabie and Hanabi are two different words in Japanese. Hanabie means "Spring breeze", while Hanabi means "Fireworks". What's interesting is "Hana" means "flower".
hard agree that crystal lake doesent hit the same since ryo left. everything with ryo was so fucking good, everything meshed super well but man without him they just dont hit the same, that energy is gone
Bro finally!! Knosis have been crushing it and Yukina slayed! I completely agree too, Crystal Lake are one of my favourite bands ever but the energy is completely gone, the new singer sounds great but he really over complicates the lyrics, sometimes simple is best
If you want to hear some modern and very creative Metalcore, check out Avralize. Check out the Song ,, Canvas" and another song called "lotus". I dont want to Glaze them but for four guys that are around 20 years old that is crazy.
To anybody else who got Spectrum, if you only pay for internet, how much is your bill? I gave up cable about 5 or 6 years ago and my bill is still $200+.
*Ryo will be joining Nik on stream tonight at 6pm EST, come hang out*
BIG!!!!
Theres a band called FALILV or Fear and Loathing in las vegas, go give them a listen specially their older songs, its a japanese band
We NEED Nik's reaction to HANABIE.!
Yess
yessssssssssssss
Yes!!!! I comentwd that a couple of time! Just got my picture with Yukina, Matsuri, Hetsu and Chika 🤩
yessss
He already did it a long time ago, he kinda ignore it like he didn't pay attention to them that much.
HANABIE is touring with Jinjer right now.
Oh yeah! Saw them last week in Montreal
saw them in balti, best concert ive been to and ive had front row seats to slipknot
I saw them in Harrisburg and I love Jinjer and have mad respect for them but HANABIE I think took the show and was the main reason I went
@@bradberry6365 I was there to! Treated myself with a meet and greet. 🤩😜
I see Nik is unfamiliar with the _Harajukucore_ style. He should absolutely look into Hanabie.
2:07
Bro upgraded from Crystal Lake to Crystal Ocean
I've been wanting Nik to react to HANABIE for so long! This song doesn't show off Yukina's growls like I wanted it too :(
right, how you get Yukina and not fully utilize her?
What if that's what she wanted, though?
@@jamesblazer9836 Even if that were true, it still doesn't showcase HANABIE the way wanted Nik to see.
Yukina is such a badass
Saw Hanabie this Summer and they were amazing. Their Sound and Energy was top notch. Absolutely a Highlight of the Festival :D
Nik has to give Hanabie a proper listen. Even with the full hour interview with Yosh and Ryo, Hanabie and Yukina were just a casual conversation.

Hanabie are goated. Nik should def check them out. Harajuku core is great \m/
Tbh, I'm getting huge Maximum the Hormone vibes from this. In fact, for a second, I thought the bassist was Ryō Kawakita! It was the dreads.
Might have something to do with Yukina, since Hanabie. started doing MTH covers.
i would do unspeakable things to have nik react too the recent maximum the hormoone collab
Does Nik even realize the support scream (low in the mix, but there) are all Yukina, not a double track from Ryo?
Saw Hanabie at Lolla they go so hard!!
Man Nik NEEDS to check out hanabie
yukina is so cool, too bad we didn't really hear her scream in this song :/
she did a little in 2:40
@@luctojericsonr.416 Yeah, but not how we used to be with her.
need more nik reaction to hanabie 🙏🏻
I'm going to tell my children this was Electric Callboy ft Babymetal

You should check out the new Maximum the Hormone song with Attarashi Gakko.
かかってこいよ(kakattekoiyo)=show me what you got.
Check out hanabie

Love HABABIE° and Spiderweb 😢
I couldn't stop laughing at this song, the feature is perfect.
since he didn't recognize Yukina, is it possible that Nik doesn't know Hanabie? Well, if he is looking for energy, there is some there...
If you like this kind of crazyness, then listen to some Maximum the Hormone, they've been doing this kind of sound since 2007
Maximum the Hormone vibes 😍
KNOSISSSSSS IS HEREE & Sharptone signed them ahhhhh Fuck Yes
Ryo did kinda make Crystal Lake Crystal lake. This now just proves even further that Ryo was the backbone from the get go
MAXIMUM THE HORMONES REACTIONS ASAP
The pronunciation of "HANABIE" is actually "Hah Nah Bee Eh", this is important as Hanabie and Hanabi are two different words in Japanese. Hanabie means "Spring breeze", while Hanabi means "Fireworks".
What's interesting is "Hana" means "flower".
Nik needs to see Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas (the band)
Its like this song packs in everything that garners a strong reaction in modern metal but then squeezed into one song and cracked it to 11.
dude i watched them live in july opening for thy art is murder, fit for a king and dying feetus, and yet they were my absolute favorite out of all 4
I have a feeling that 'iceberg' was homage to Crystal Lake. Considering it was... a crystal on a lake.
Giving me Spite vibes, dedication to the flesh mixed with Alpha Wolf? Good shitttt
people may not know this but Crystal Lake is partly the reason why Hanabie exists.
Fvck the new Crystal Lake ,i, Ryo will always be the goat and Yukina! Nik I hate you for not paying attention to your Hanabie reaction before.
that hardstyle break got me feeling Glitch vibes - no face no case. both make me lol and bop so hard
that was the perfect last video of the day before going to sleep
React to hanabie.
mixed by buster odeholm is wildd. this song is insane
man ryo just never disappoints what a legend
Knosis is doing what 99% of metalcore bands will not do. Disregarding genre boundaries.
RYO is the GOAT🐍
Ryo never lets us down!
5:55 🔥Heavy is The Rules🔥
my BOI is GROWLIN'
Reminds me of C-Gate.

I’m down for anything new Ryo
Experimetal-core
Alguien le puede decir que reaccione a Hanabie 🤣
More. More! MORE! MORE!!! MOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRREEEEEE!!!!
Some Paledusk vibes
Ryo will always have the spotlight in Nik’s world, as in mine
Nik you have to react to HANABIE plz
Love this song
hard agree that crystal lake doesent hit the same since ryo left. everything with ryo was so fucking good, everything meshed super well but man without him they just dont hit the same, that energy is gone
Seeing Knosis on Saturday and am absolutly going to lose it if they play this song. Too bad Yukina is in America right now
If you can see Knosis live, you should.
Ryo is one of the best at it.
In parts, and I don't know why, this type of metal reminded me a bit of the early 2000s.
I think the "ice burg" was a giant crystal in a lake.
This is a banger. Love it.
Check out maximum the hormone feat atarashi gakko
"かかってこいよ"
In a weird way Knosis are kind of carrying the experimental torch of Mad Capsule Markets
Ryo is such a legend
maximume the hormone walked so ryo could run
that first bit gave Thrown vibes so hard
Lol Yukina did only 1 medium scream? i presume they didnt want her to steal the spotligt from Ryo. 😂
I was thinking this also, they could have had her get in on the breakdown, but it is a Knosis track. Still loved the feature.
She does the background screams after every line in the chorus too!
Please react to 花冷え(Hanabie)
Bro finally!! Knosis have been crushing it and Yukina slayed! I completely agree too, Crystal Lake are one of my favourite bands ever but the energy is completely gone, the new singer sounds great but he really over complicates the lyrics, sometimes simple is best
Hanabie is great. You should check them out
“Just a pinch of pinch”💀
If you want to hear some modern and very creative Metalcore, check out Avralize. Check out the Song ,, Canvas" and another song called "lotus". I dont want to Glaze them but for four guys that are around 20 years old that is crazy.
Nik please react to HANABIE. PLEASE!
new crystal lake is fantastic. Does this guy just pick and choose at random what stuff he likes and doesn't? really seems that way sometimes
as that a hit at crystal lake?...lliterally portrays in one scene!!
This. Kicks. Ass.
This is ass
3:27 Bro channeled his inner Alex Terrible holy fuck
This is sick
I don’t know what happened but I like it
Sick 🔥
This ain't metalcore, this is like almost Nu Deathcore
Check out As I Lay Dying/Alex Terrible song,We Are the Dead
it's a boring ass song, burden is wayyy better
To anybody else who got Spectrum, if you only pay for internet, how much is your bill? I gave up cable about 5 or 6 years ago and my bill is still $200+.

New nik
Ryo is the goat
"experimental metalcore" this is literally nu metal with breakdowns
Lol. I watched it randomly, and wanted to send to you to react)
Check out CAR BOMB!
Rise of the Northstar vibe!!!
That's ironic, Nik, cos when you reacted to one of CL's new songs, you said you were happy they were heavy again.
🤘🤘🤘
Gnarly song! Also check out….
