I’ve got one of these around 5 months ago. Absolutely amazing bike, I highly recommend it. The blue ashes color doesn’t look great in person but does look stunning at sunset. At sunset when the sun hits it just right, you get this beautiful silvery grey blue color just pop from it. 100% recommend the bike for any beginner or intermediate rider
That bike must be one of the latest production of the 2021 Stance 2, I have the same bike but mine came with a SR Suntour Raidon fork 130mm travel not a Giant Crest fork 🤔. Overall great bike can't go wrong, add a dropper post and upgrade the tires, brings the bike to another level an all around moutain bike including super fun at the bike parks.
2 year old review, but I found this exact model for sale used on craigslist in mint condition for $800 obo. What are you thoughts on this Trance 2 Crest as a beginner FS mountain bike?
Nice! Hope you have many happy miles on it! I tested a Trance and I really liked it. Some people have had issues with the Crest fork, but other than that it’s worth the money. Thanks for watching.
Just got this bike 2 days ago my shock absorbent goes all the way down when riding, ive try putting more air to like 30 psi it keeps droping.. How do i fix that problem? thanks
@@TroyandAndrea update turns out your suppost to have a shock air pump wich could pump 200 psi that was all.( 1 psi per lbs somewhat average ) The shop had only put 70psi when they gave it to me brand new. Up to riding now 👍🏼
My next bike will be a giant full suspension… I picked up a talon 2 27.5 a few weeks ago haven’t really put any miles on it yet but love the build quality
I'm with you! I didn't want to send this bike back - I want a full-suspension bike, too! Makes the trails so much more enjoyable! Have fun riding and thanks for watching!
@@TroyandAndrea I have always ridden hard tail but couldn’t swing the price tag of the stance at the moment so I opted for talon 2 to get me riding again
Hello! Great video. I have one question, new to mountain biking and was wondering if I should get a small or a medium? Im 5’6”. Just want to make sure im comfortable. Don’t want to big of a bike.
Hello! I’m 5’9” and the medium felt just a bit long on the reach to me. A small would have been more comfortable as it’s almost a full inch closer. Thanks for watching,!
I own the Trance 27.5 , also a highly upgraded Ironhorse Warrior 3.1 26" , I am a 58 years old average rider who started riding in Canary Islands in 2001 and hasn't stopped eversince . I have tried 29ers and I think they are awesome but they are not for me .
I hear you Armando! It all depends on your riding style and your body type - I'm only 5'9" so a 29" can be challenging if the standover height is too high. I rode a Jamis Dakar 26" for many years and it was a great bike. Thanks for watching!
Hi W B! For one, they were just being negative. Secondly, they are referring to the design of the bike. Basically, there are some high-end bikes that have different lengths and angles of tubing that changes how the bike feels on climbing, descending, and/or cornering. Some riders prefer those designs. The Giant has a pretty conservative design (geometry) so that any average rider can enjoy the ride. So, no, it’s not “outdated.” Thanks for watching!
Yes, there have been a few complaints about clicking noises on the Crest fork. Take it to your local bike shop and have them take a look at it. They should be able to help.
I also want to get the bike and wasn't sure if it was good. But now I've decided to get it. Great I also want to get the bike and wasn't sure if it was good. But now I've decided to get it. Great video👌👌👍👍📹📹
Hi! Yes! It should come stock with tubeless ready tires. The bike shop may not set it up that way at purchase, but you have the option to go tubeless. Thanks for watching!
It is a great bike. You've got me really curious - what bike would you list as a quality, entry level, full suspension MTB bike for less than $2K? Thanks.

I have the 2021 stance 2 29er in gunmetal and it’s a blast! Like many decided to upgrade from a hard tail to my first FS.
