One of the truly great tunes of the 1970s. A great band. A shame there isn't more early footage, in good shape, of these legends. A truly under rated rock act.
God bless ya for sharing this....& thank God for whoever had the foresight to capture it. Like that one remaining, faded, snap of a lost love never forgotten, the poor quality matters not...it's a treasure regardless isn't it?
i remember seeing sahb on either don kirchner s rock concert or bill graham s in concert on tv years ago, before fleetwood mac started their (stevie nicks era, that is ) big rise to fame. alex and company were absolutly SENSATIONAL of course! and my first " live " exposure to them. got to see them in concert somwhat later, and loved it!
There were a very few of us in North America at the time who loved Alex and the band. And a couple of the rock mags at the time, Circus and Creem, championed them endlessly. But to no avail. They were just a bit too weird for North American audiences -- too punky for the Genesis and Queen fans, too quirky for the metal and hard-rock fans.
1974 Always Worth My Time The Sensational Alex Harvey Band 1!!
I thought I would share this with eveyone. Everyone deserves to see it.Rock on.

Have a drink of your choice and a massive cigar on me.......... Thank you so much for this 😊
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! They don't come any Better than Alex.
Rare footage. Addicted to anything by Alex. He was something else. RIP 😢
Knebworth 1974. This was the first proper rock band that I ever saw live and this was the opening number. Unforgettable.

prime but still love his stuff!! VAMBO ROOLS!!!
Only 42,015 views in nearly 5 years. A classic like this should be up in the millions by now!! What's wrong with the world!!
