was about to say the same - from all the reviews they are the lowesst quality steel available and only worth $5 to $10 being sharp is nothing special - literally any metal can be made sharp.what matters is choice of steel to that it will stay sharp and keep its edge and these have a reputation for going blunt from just cutting a tomato.

Do NOT BUY KAMIKOTO KNIVES! Sorry, just had to try to prevent people from making a huge mistake. They really are really crappy knives. If you want a "real" Chefs knife, get a Wusthof Classic Chefs knife like a 9 or 10 inch. They are under $200, are the sharpest factory sharpened knife, and an extremely well-built knife. I am still using the one I bought 20 years ago when getting my BAS in Culinary Arts, and I can still shave with it, granted I keep it well sharpened, which isn't hard with the 12 degree angle. Get yourself a steel also, not a sharpener, a "steel". Send it in to be professionally sharpened, unless you understand how to sharpen at specific angles or you'll ruin the edge. I bought an actual pro sharpener to do mine.
And don't forget that while you pamper yourself with delicious hello fresh meal that you made within minutes using your brand new kamikoto knife that you might have premature hair loss, and need to take action right now using keeps! BTW: amazing video as always, just commented for the joke
If you mean receive subpar quality ingredients that you attempt to cut with overpriced cheap Chinese knives with hair loss mumbo jumbo products, then absolutely.

I was amazed to find that there were entire calvary units in India during WW2, run just like it had been in WW1. There were whole populations of people who just continually trained on horseback, but never engaging anyone. Their days were mostly training and drinking and parties.....
@@christineparis5607 Yes but my point was that horses and donkeys were used everywhere, specially for transporting goods, even in the armies, including Germans and Englishs. Petrol were so rare during the war ( and even until the late 50s in Europe tractors in fields were not a common sight.).
Unfortunately Kamikoto knives are a complete scam made of the same quality steel , if not worse quality, you'd find from a $20 kitchen knife at the general store. Check out Shadiversity's video showing these knives to be what they are
The dogs did not "drop " the bombs. They were strapped to their backs and the dogs were trained to take shelter under a tank. Any tank. The explosives were on a timer.
Fun fact of the day is the war pigs were far more effective if set on fire first. The screams they emitted were the most tweeting thing to an elephant in battle and often caused them to charge back into friendly lines. Riders kept a hammer and pick in case this happened and would hammer the pick into the elephants brain to stop the beasts rampage.
Great video and it gets a thumbs up but Shadiversity literally just made a whole video on how Kamikoto is a complete scam. Please people do not buy from them unless you don’t care that they are selling a fraudulent product.
I wish you put some effort into verifying your sponsors. Kamikoto knives are owned by the same company that owns the scam business of established titles and number of other shady businesses. You don't have to dig into the companies, just a little verification should be good enough? Since you are an amazing UA-camr people might take your word for it! Could you please be a little more careful next time? Great video though!!
The plastic explosive must have been very unlike C4, and a few others. Several of those substances actually will not explode without the correct catalyst, be it electricity, chemical, etc. C4 is a funny one, because demonstrations tend to be along the lines of rolling up a cylinder of C4 and lighting it on fire. It just burns, as everyone freaks out and tries to hide. On the other end of the spectrum, however, there is at least one that's literally rocket fuel with a consistency change, and many that do not burn or smolder. They just PURELY combust.
Yes as their parent company owns them, Established Titles, and some shady scam company that sells “tickets” to bid on subpar items in an auction-like setup.
I remember first hearing Kamikoto, went to their site. Seen they listed SUS420J2 steel. That's when I knew it was a scam. Did a little more digging. They're part of a large scam company.
Ok this is probably my favorite Thoughty2 title text change: Original: "How Britain Used Rats To Destroy German Factories" Edited: "How This Explosive Bat Almost Destroyed Japan In WW2"
With Kamikoto knives, the box is worth maybe $20, and better knives can be had off Amazon for $100 for all of them, or $120 for a set with double the number of knives and a block, and yet Kamikoto is charging $341. They're possibly made of Japanese steel, but it's 420J2 steel, which is quite cheap. Better quality steel like Cr17 can be found in cheaper knives, hold their edge better, sharpened to a better edge, and overall more durable. The only downside to Cr17 is that it takes longer to sharpen it.

Horses used by Poland in WW2 weren't quite used to charge at the enemies but to lug around the heavy AT weapons. And ironically horses weren't phased out during WW2. They pretty much served as part of logistics anyway. So what if they weren't as useful as tanks in combat? They have had other uses.

And they're made in China from chinesium
Ran by the same people as established titles too.
Source: ua-cam.com/video/p2W2TJZYHsw/v-deo.html
They're an out right scam. No real chefs use them, and they're the cheapest stainless steel you can get.
No they are not the same, they are even worse. Shadiversity made a video where he tested kamikoto knives compared to a knife he got for free in some supermarket. The free knife was better...
was about to say the same - from all the reviews they are the lowesst quality steel available and only worth $5 to $10
being sharp is nothing special - literally any metal can be made sharp.what matters is choice of steel to that it will stay sharp and keep its edge and these have a reputation for going blunt from just cutting a tomato.
Any thoughts on the established titles scam Thoughty2?
Been blowing up all around UA-cam. Seen you promote it a bunch. Going to ignore or get ahead of it?
I really love your channel!!!! Fan from Mississippi, USA here!
Hello from Texas! Hope you haven't had terrible weather, this weekend was awful here....
"hey.. fourty2 here" never gets old even after years
Bat Bombs..Rat Bombs....Dog Bombs.....could not imagine something this idiotic being thought of to fight in a war. You said, how Sadistic Humans are, there is a topic for a new Thoughty2 episode. Thank you. Enjoy learning from the content.
Love your videos Arran, they always provoke wonder, shock and laughs, thank you
I miss your podcast, random interesting facts. Please bring it back :)
11:30 Kamikaze pidgins! Marvelous !
4:50 that's Laika, the little Space Columbus . My Jack Russell is named after her. R.I.P., Laika.
Yet another awesome video! I love the mix of serious information and smartass comments 😁. Keep up the good work!
Yeah head says a lot evidently
Aaron please do your research regarding Kamikoto and Established Titles before accepting them as a sponsor.
Be safe
Its a scam, same as Established Titles and Dealdash. There are a lot of videos covering them here on UA-cam.
And don't forget that while you pamper yourself with delicious hello fresh meal that you made within minutes using your brand new kamikoto knife that you might have premature hair loss, and need to take action right now using keeps! BTW: amazing video as always, just commented for the joke
😂😂
If you mean receive subpar quality ingredients that you attempt to cut with overpriced cheap Chinese knives with hair loss mumbo jumbo products, then absolutely.
Dut don't use "Keeps" before your "lawnmower" personal groomer without washing your hands in between.
@@alanhilder1883 and dont fprget to also wash your hands before playing with your smooth balls thanks to manscaped
Whilst playing Raid Shadow Legends and the other shitty freemium games that appear here from time to time.
Dear Thoughty2, Rome Total War gaming (sub)series popularized the use of flaming pigs to freak out elephants in simulated ancient battles.
I freaking love this channel!
Yeah... The only pain point that I have with him is that he's using a scam sponsor... ua-cam.com/video/OpRNqZJPPBk/v-deo.html
What better way to kick off the day? Mr T and coffee. This episode IMHO is the best yet.
I'm just grabbing my popcorn as these comments explode about the sponsor... Next he'll be shilling for land plots on the moon or offering naming stars after loved ones. I got a bridge in New York to sell you! 😂
Some folks can't afford their gas bill, never mind a few knives for $300 lol
Horses were still massively used for transportation during WW2 by all armies.
Now I’ve got Black Sabbath’s ‘War Pigs’ going round in my head 🤣👍
Unfortunately Kamikoto knives are a complete scam made of the same quality steel , if not worse quality, you'd find from a $20 kitchen knife at the general store. Check out Shadiversity's video showing these knives to be what they are
The explosive rat idea was priceless lol
Heads up man...there is a rumor going around that kamikoto is a major scam!
8:49 it’s like a scatter bomb
Aren’t Kamikoto a scam though? Aren’t they owned by the same people as Established Titles? I heard they were actually Chinese made.
Bro, strapping bombs to bats is hilarious and at the same time absolutely ludicrous.
The dogs did not "drop " the bombs. They were strapped to their backs and the dogs were trained to take shelter under a tank. Any tank. The explosives were on a timer.
og title is "Why Did This Devastating Bomb Contain Live Bats?"
Woke up to a Thoughty2 video, already a good day!
Loved the video, a shame the sponsor was Kamikoto Knives.
Not sure why but I could listen to you reading the phonebook. Yours is the only channel I don’t fast forward through the ads😂
Y'know, i initially thought it was a bat with a lightsaber, but turns out not
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
The pigeon was like I’m doing what now?
Just saw in another video that they're actually using chinese steel to make those knives.
10 Years and just under Five Million Subs now. Good Stuff!
Man I feel so bad for those pigeons being trained to commit suicide
The great kennel in the sky part got me😂
Haven't Kamikoto knives just been called a fraud by different UA-camrs?
Yes as their parent company owns them, Established Titles, and some shady scam company that sells “tickets” to bid on subpar items in an auction-like setup.
@@FigmentForever speaking of DealDash.
I remember first hearing Kamikoto, went to their site. Seen they listed SUS420J2 steel. That's when I knew it was a scam. Did a little more digging. They're part of a large scam company.
I didn't share my coat.
Ok this is probably my favorite Thoughty2 title text change:
Original: "How Britain Used Rats To Destroy German Factories"
Edited: "How This Explosive Bat Almost Destroyed Japan In WW2"
With Kamikoto knives, the box is worth maybe $20, and better knives can be had off Amazon for $100 for all of them, or $120 for a set with double the number of knives and a block, and yet Kamikoto is charging $341. They're possibly made of Japanese steel, but it's 420J2 steel, which is quite cheap. Better quality steel like Cr17 can be found in cheaper knives, hold their edge better, sharpened to a better edge, and overall more durable. The only downside to Cr17 is that it takes longer to sharpen it.
How many times are you gonna change the title? I thought it was interesting from the get-go with the WWII rats and all, it’s just that I’ve heard the stories before so I wanted to watch it later. You can cover something I’ve seen a million times, but it’s always unique so I’ll always watch it eventually!
I heard kamikoto knives are part of the established title's companies and they're not good atall.
Anyone know about this?
Their knives are made of the cheapest material & they are owned by the same Hong Kong based company that started Established Titles. Hope Arran makes the right decision about whether to “partner” with them.
True. Kamikoto, Established Titles and Deal Dash have a parent company called Fail Ventures. Based in Hong Kong where they don't have as strict business laws. Founded by William Wolfram.
@@williamjeffersonclinton69
Ummmmm…..that’s not true, at all.
Are you just making up random nonsense?
Kamikoto knives and Established Titles are owned by Galton Voysey.
DealDash is owned by itself.
They’re based out of Hong Kong where it is cheaper to produce goods….like virtual EVERY COMPANY ON THE PLANET.
You literally just described Nike, Adidas, Apple, Microsoft, etc etc etc.
Why do these companies have your undies all twisted?
Why would you lie about them?
@@williamjeffersonclinton69
You were curious about your LIES?
Another brilliant vlog, thanks for sharing.
I love your videos and have nothing against sponsors in general (you need them like duh I know that) but please keep in mind that Kamikoto Knifes have been founded by and are are still part of the same people/parent company that founded "established titles" aka the biggest scam ever!!!

the cut at 3.30min is really cool, good job :)
this is 1`st day this was recommended to me. i wonder why i never miss your videos!
Fake knives, poor steel and not even Japanese, their a Chinese scam.
Those knives are a scam !!!!
LOL when you said "slippers" I completely bought that because you are so believable that if you did not reveal it was a joke and that you meant "supplies" I would not have second guessed it
Just think you all should know kamikoto knives are owned by scam shell company group that established Titles is owned by. So fair warning.

This tells you if a smart dog doesn't like a particular person you had better not trust em either.. even the dogs with bombs strapped on back knew who was in the right. Thanks thoughty2
Are you gonna change title 3-4 times of this one, too?
That was great thanks Thoughty 2
Bro this video has had 4 different thumbnails in the last 2 hours
It changed while I was watching the video!
And now the title and thumbnail changed again loool why
Proudly here before the title of the video changes!!
Kamikoto knives are a scam you should better research sponsors
9:00 I haven't laugh so hard in a long while - thanks!
@Thoughty2 how do you feel about the recent accusations that Kamikoto Knives and Established Titles are a scam? Do you feel like your audience are being scammed out of their money? How do you feel about encouraging your audience to buy scammy products?
You know, he probably has no control over advertising. I don't mind you being upset at a scam, but automatically being shrill and scolding without knowing who is really responsible for the ads means you just want to yell at someone. Why don't you contact the Better Business Bureau and see about reporting the company you feel is scamming, instead of attacking the narrator....
@@christineparis5607 The narrator is the face and name of the channel , he gets what he deserves. These channels need to take some responsibility about the money they take from scammers. Do their due diligence, or risk reputations.
