    Hi everyone,
This video is going to show you how to make scale realistic trees for your dioramas or train layouts. I used craft wire(floral wire) to make the trunk and then coated it vallejo earth texture paste . and then used woodland scenic foliage .

When you are so confident that you will not have a single costumer, you feel completely comfortable filming a UA-cam video in the front of the store during business hours.

back to basics ... good to hear . Now I have time to enjoy, building things again, it is nice to see other techniques. I used to search for twigs & cut mini leaves, then paint to match scenery... Thanks

I just found this video. Something came to mind while watching it. The color of the Vallejo earth texture paste is an excellent choice if you wanted to chip spots on the tree to show bark knocked off. It's color would look like the natural tree color under the bark.

I think this is one of your best videos yet. It sure beats paying through the nose for ready made trees.

Andy, thank you very much. Your channel is my favourite on UA-cam. I always make time when I see you've posted another video. I really appreciate the work you do and the time you spend to put these videos out. This was another great one, and I look forward to many more diorama type videos.

An "armature" tree...make them all the time, but do it differently for the root system. I`ve covered mine mostly with Hodge Podge and brown/gray paint mixture, and recently, experimented with 3M spray rubber (a.k.a. Flex Seal) and covered an entire armature in 3 minutes! The Vallejo texture gives it a better bark-look than the Hodge Podge...too smooth. Thanks Andy!

It's the best method to make a tree for a diorama.

Excellent video. I looked on ebay for tubs of filler and the cheapest I could get was £5 odds plus postage. I got 2 600gram tubs at the supermarket for £1 per tub! I’ve bought the cheapest Woodland Scenics polyfiber and shaker tubs of green flock I could find on the bay though. Got the florists wire and so I’m set!

Hi Andy, nice Tree looks very good, but i have to say all this stuff you using for it ,is to find in every Do it yourself Store. I don't know what modellers do around the world when they can't buy the washes the Pigments, i do Pigments myself, washes my self i even make my own real rust long time before anybody come up with chemical Rust , or Rust Pigments. I do my Trees with acrylic sealant , color it with A- Paint or use Pigments, thin it down with Water how you ( I) need it, use a Brush dump it in Water straighten it up , use a stiffer Brush for the Bark .Much easier to use than the the Vallejo stuff and the best of all much cheaper. Maybe you should sell this in your Store too. If i need some weathering Powders like the Tamiya ones, i go in a Cosmetik Store by the the Stuff ,used by women to weathering her Faces and Eyes and what ever they need to cover up. Thera are tons of brown white and other colors, You get them with a little oil in, or complete dry and use the same applicator also bought in a Women Store what is supplied by Tamiya.

Hele goede tutorial. Vooral de laag op de bast voor de structuur is bijzonder.
