Nice to see Deer Creek producing a VERY healthy rainbow, via fishing off the rocks near the dam. I always manage to get down there two or three times every Autumn. Need to give it a go soon.
Thanks for posting this. I was planning a trip to strawberry this weekend again but might have to stop at deer creek I’ve driven past it a million times and never fished it for some reason I’ll have to give it a try. For some reason I can’t ever catch much at strawberry unless ice fishing we went to strawberry last weekend and only caught one tiny rainbow I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong there everyone talks about how good the fishing is there but I can’t ever seem to catch much there but usually don’t have any issues at other places.
I know where Basslovese to stay in the structures but I don't have any idea about the structures at Deer creek. So where is going to be a good place to fishing for Largemouth and smallmouth from the shore?

Yeah! It seems there are several bows that size in the reservoir!
