Someday, knifemakers will realize sheaths should attach to molle.
Clip makers already did
The Gerber strongarm allegedly does. I haven’t had both a plate carrier and my Gerber in the same room yet so I haven’t tried it but I’m a month or so once I go back home when I get it it’ll go on my flak
@@TactileLokii have my Gerber strongarm on my vest and it stays right in place

I need to check out your blades! I like those mounting options as I just picked up the CRKT HZ6 by James Williams & need to mount it to my 3a vest. I don't recall the overall length but the blade is close to 6.5". I like the slimmer Tek Lok setup for small-med blades as I never liked the original as they were bulky, & pushed the sheath or holster too far out from a belt to conceal well & woukd be prone to snagging when on a vest. Thanks for these options!

And I do like to wear packs where there is some type of Molly webbing, so I should probably order me a couple of these. For the knives that I have that one size will work for all of them right? Will that attachment kit work on an ESEE Kydex holster?
I don’t know the spacing on Esse sheaths. These are 3/4 inch spacing

My blades do come set up for horizontal, but I could add that to a video soon. Maybe I’ll cover it on the live broadcast this Sunday.
@@TkellKnives ok do you have any recommendations for overall knife lengths when mounted that way? Obviously something too long wouldn’t fit well at the edge of the battle belt. I’d rather not get something that’s too long and won’t work

How do you measure for the lock you need?
It depends on how long your sheath is. The shorter clips fit on the smaller sheaths etc.

What hydration system is that
That one is a camelback inside a plate carrier backpack. I’ve since switched to the Qore ice plate, which I LOVE. I haven’t frozen it but I’ve used it for training as a hydration plate and it’s great.
I just use wire ties. 🤷🏻♂️
steel plates?
Correct, armored plates made from steel (typically AR500) for stopping bullets and or shrapnel. Hence the name “plate carrier”

I dont do airsoft but calling guys that practice shooting for a hobby is dumb . Trex arms has shown it doesn't take long to adjust to live ammo . And be damn good with it
Air soft can be a part of your training. No one said you couldn’t use it. You still need to to train for real life. Train with what you intend to be deadly with. I don’t give a shit what trex has convinced you of. Airsoft is not preparation for armed combat.
@TkellKnives if you're going to try a rebuttal please stay on subject. You called airsoft larpers. Which you just admitted to being a fine way to train so either you were speaking in the video without thinking or your trying to walk it back now .
I'll take a dedicated airsoft hobbyist anyway of the week compared to person who only does weekend range time
My point of reference for this is trex arms can airsoft translate to real skill
