I met Hamilton Dlhamini 3 yrs ago inside woolies Norwood and as much I don’t like to approach celebrities, I went to him and told him about my love for his work, at first he was so serious, I think he just didn’t want to be disturbed, then I introduced myself as the river editor and that made him smile, he congratulated me and I walked away feeling so proud to have met an icon.. thank you for inviting this legend over
have been waiting for this episode since last of last week...i think i saw it uploaded...then it disapeared again... Mr Hamilton Dhlamini is a legend have always wanted to hear his story.
What I like about this PODCAST is that it brings authentic stories, told without being filtered...Kind David gives the guests enough time to respond and he is invested in the conversation. Keep it up, love it. Ohh Hamilton Dhlamini, what a genuine soul, love and light brother...
You cn't believe I watch this full 3 hour conversation in just two days this will be one of the best interviews, Mr Hamilton Dhlamini is living legend, Thank you king David for inviting him
Well, we African men are looking for such women as bra Hamilton's wife. Unfortunately, the " modern " black women has dropped the ball. Sad state of affairs. She's heavily invested in the material instead of the heart.
I learn and grow so much from this show. Everytime after watching I think to myself, “I have to invest more time and energy on my craft”. Especially with this episode the way Hamilton Dhlamini is still learning even now! 🌷🌷🌷
I respect what my legend, Hamilton just said about the industry and how to survive with Cold-drink... it's true. I am in the film and TV industry myself and really true what he said. Deep City was very good. Actors were great and directing was on point. Crew was committed in the project. Thanks King-David for hosting our Grootman...
David thank you very much for doing this podcast. What Ntate Hamilton Dhlamini saying is what Ntate Don Mlangeni Nawa, Bra Seputla Sebogodi. Saying we are acting about criminal, instead of educating us Youth how to be able to have a purpose in life. Let's act something that we must fight against political system of South Africa. Such as Corruption, unemployed rate, crime etc. Also sports in general.
Ive rarely commented on this podcast because when i go through the comments I always find someone who articulates the value this channel adds to my life/society, super grateful for it. S/O to KindDavid and everyone behind the scenes.
I fully enjoyed this episode, Bhut Hamilton is so disciplined, and he is aware of who he is. Such an inspiration, he raises the bar of the film industry. Thanks Bra Dave.
What an amazing interview! Just everything. Thank you Mr Mashabela. You are the King you say you are. What a powerful man, a black man who knows his power and uses it for good, thank you Baba Hamilton Dhlamini.
I love it when Hamilton's face suddenly illuminates when he speaks of Diepcity. That's the impact of a great story crafted from the heart.I would have loved to see more seasons, especially his character as Bonga, a true gentleman that cared so much for others, loved his daughters wholeheartedly and equally. He literally became that character, but that's what he does in every film role, he leaves a mark of a legend. I've learned a lot from his words in this interview, he is naturally smart.
Yohooo! I love this guy. He is passionate about what he is doing. He motivates me to work on my craft and be a better me in my field. I didn't think I was gonna enjoy this interview this much. I'm so impressed. David thanks, you are the man. I also enjoy the kasi language. Enough ka sekgowa re le batho ba batsho.
I happy to watch this podcast, Hamilton I grew up with him in Sebokeng zone 7b. We used to play soccer together so after the meetingin the morning before the game we will gather to at my place. Then Hamilton we keep us entertained by his story telling. I'm happy to see him growing in this industry. I am his fan.
Concerned about an African child a black child 👏🏾May God continue to bless you beyond measure 👏🏾Ungayeki uhlale unalentshiseko yokuthuthukisa ikusasa lomntwan’omnt’omnyama 🙌🏾

😂😂 tltltl bagoga diroko he's so funny I like it when he says I don't wanna be in a place le batho ba confused I'm finished I love his humility and respect and how he talks about his wife great interview and very enlightening 👌
22 minutes in and I’m loving this conversation already. Story telling comes so natural to him that even when he addresses matters of legislation one still enjoys it.
I'm not even half of the interview and I've been all smiles since it started. I've been a fan of all my life. Hamilton is the vibe. His sense of humor in so natural. (Legendary)
Yizo Yizo did more harm to the black communities than good. I was in Std 6 when the show started to air, and the following day, most of the day were already influenced, climbing on top. of the tables and swearing. Gradually, the pant were sagging, and guys started carrying knives and weed to school
Thanks for this podcast and Hamilton thanks for telling it like it is. It's very refreshing to hear a veteran actor and artist confessing that TV stories are misleading and often portray our people in a negative light. We need people like him in leadership positions in the performing arts industries.
I love this interview! For me it is the effort on the part of Mr Hamilton. This quality of preparedness. He watched previous interviews and made reference to them. He made Mr Mashabela's work very easy.
What a beautiful soul in bra Hamilton Ntosh Dhlamini and im proud of the hustle and bustle, he's one of the finest we have in South African actors and best theater performing artist...🙌🙌🙌🐐🐐🐐👑👑
The veterans cry the same pains: portrayal of bad things by the current television programmes, it does great harm than people think and know. Bra Hamilton is lepara for keeping it real!!!!
Passion Bro Hamilton is sharing,is very inspiring.Enjoyed this interview very much, and I ignited the spark of knowing where I came from and teachings from our parents.
Of all your interviews, I thoughrougly enjoyed this one. Bra Hamilton is so authentic, a great story teller by nature and a very talented guy. He is intelligent and confident too. Deep and sad realities about the entertainment industry that he spoke about, very enlightening. I have so much respect for him. Le para🥂 💐your flowers while you are still breathing.
They are wrong though!!! I couldn't watch the rest of Adulting past episode 2, very distasteful. I read the Wife books and when it came to TV, I was really disappointed!!! I hope we get to see improvement in this industry. It's really sad

😂😂😂 02:42:24 I swear this part cracked me up, but yes this is what most of us men prefer… less makeup 💄 is way better. But we love you women regardless of what we prefer.
Spot on! As viewers we get so frustrated listening to the same lines from "English". It was painful growing up listening to criticisms and ridicule of black people. Now I realise how much short changed we were. Black people are so creative in numerous avenues and the arts are critical to our existence. Black and Proud!
I love Hamilton Dlamini sir, o dira mosebetsi wa gago ka bokgabane, we see you sir, you love what you doing we can see it, all the best sir madimo a nne le wena 🙌🙌👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️

Bra Dave. Where do these theatre shows play? Which venues specifically and how do we get to know whose on the “line up” so to say? I’ve never been to a play so I’d like to give it a try

I agree , n the guy he's real best interview ❤
Utlwa: "If I lose her ga ke itsi ke tlaba mang" that was so heartwarming❤ because most men value their women only when they've (women) left.
Well, we African men are looking for such women as bra Hamilton's wife. Unfortunately, the " modern " black women has dropped the ball. Sad state of affairs. She's heavily invested in the material instead of the heart.

Mr Hamilton is revolutionary....I never heard anyone from the entertainment industry speaking truth to power....much respect 🙏

A real family man both on and off stage.
@@Salfi155 that's so true, I better grasp it now why he gelled so well with his character on Diepcity.

Facts tv is real
I still don't understand the glorification of that TV show and people call me a hater when I dislike it. It's literally degeneracy.
Thanks for this podcast and Hamilton thanks for telling it like it is. It's very refreshing to hear a veteran actor and artist confessing that TV stories are misleading and often portray our people in a negative light. We need people like him in leadership positions in the performing arts industries.
