The biggest reason why I watch and listen to every episode of this podcast is the level of respect in King David's questioning. He does ask about the guests' controversial lives, but the tonality is very educational and respectful. He shines so much light in every star's dark life and past. South Africa and the world needs more people like him.
Beautiful to see Brother Ishmael opening up like this, my prayer is that he stays the way and continues to make music. Blessings and light to you Mashabela and Ishmael.
Ishmael's voice needs to be Amplified. He needs to be the ambassador and face of Anti-Drugs campaign in SA. U can tell that he has learnt his lesson and he gets it. He is very smart and philosophical. God bless him!
I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. "You know what I mean?" "Jasas" Ishmael lived a very colourful life from an early age. He saw it all. He did it all. I wish he had products other than music, which we can access from our homes. He's a smart guy and can easily rebrand. Wishing him all the best in all his endeavours. David seemed happy to have him in studio.
If there is one person who is “industry” it’s Ishmael. He has beeeeeeeeeen around 🙌🏾 Thank God🙏🏾 What l find amazing is he is always the new version of himself musically in each era. And yet he remains himself always.
I was watching Ishmael performance on SABC last weekend with my granny and uncle and I told them, you do know his 50 right they were flabagasted as we went down memory line with his cataloque and we all reminisced about the good ol times.
I am here for Ma-Ish doing this on a professional career platform where he's paid to talk to our brothers and sisters about these drugs! I wish there was a way we, the listeners/watchers/King David community, could get our minds together and help fund it! Ma-Ish has a way of talking that uses humour and is hard hitting, all that the same time. Thank you for this King David. Thank you for sharing Ishmael!
King Mdeva thank you for bringing this legend❤I love how he breaks down the impact of drugs on an individual, family, community and future. He's telling the truth when he says drugs lie,and im glad he survived and has overcome his addiction. I lost a cousin a week ago from drug abuse, and I'm really listening attentively to him on this topi❤c.
Proper storyteller. Paints pictures so well with just words and gestures. Very articulate. Heavily talented. I wish ntate Ish the best life has to offer.
You know how he narrate the effects of drugs is funny, simply because he is a humorous and a good story teller, but the impact is truly deep...EISH 😢😢😢
Mr Mashabela, you may not be aware, but you are a True Legend yourself in your own right. I truly appreciate just the positive way you that you conducting and directing your dialogs so harmoniously. Your consistency is awesome. I wish you a great health, tremendous growth, and stacks of God's blessings 🙌 🙏🏽. Much love, Brother ❤.
A lot of wisdom from Ishmael. So many nuggets of wisdom 😢thanks for reminding us to be patient with ourselves because you are patient with yourself. I hope you get to teach the youth about drugs. As for me I am inspired not to give up
This talk is so deep. Ishmael is so open, but again you are an amazing interview. Your sense of compassion and respect makes everyone open up. You are so warm, and that makes your guests want to talk. You make them feel like they're friends. "If you want to wage a war with a country and destroy it without guns, bring drugs and the country will be destroyed with her buildings still intact." Ishmael Morabe. This is so scary AF.
I feel like this is the best interview for our current South Africa Most importantly for people like us that still want to be part of the art industry.
The one artist that has mastered the skill of regeneration. I remember Ishmael being relevant in every phase of the music development, generation after generation... Legend here.
You rather have unemployment problem than a Drug problem yhoooo that takes me back to the story of u Bobo from Yizo Yizo "that first line is the end of your career"😢😢😢😢😢
Ishmael is a good storyteller,i have never seen KingDavid laugh so much during an interview...Ishmael found peave and im happy for me.money will follow ngwanakogae
What a beautiful interview😊, Ishmael is a GOAT, intellect of his kind, and definitely a legend🫅 I wish he could get more work and good support to pursue his dream of motivational speaking for the youh❤🎉🎉🎉🎉

Hate how Ishmael has given in to Old age , this guy is still fresh and young as a college kid. And with his voice can still contribute to music. Legend nonetheless, definitely one of theee most important pillars of SA music , period
I once saw him 2019 I was so sad seeing him in drugs, we’re having a party in Maboneng and a lot of 2000s don’t know him but I did know him but felt bad seeing him like that. I hope he has changed his life and I do think sometimes you need to go through a lot of stuff to change your life
What I Love About King David Podcast We Get To Know The Personality Of Different Celebs Who Were Condemned By Then Media. Like They Never Had Time To Tell Their Stories Many We Believed What We Read About Them And Now We Get To Know That Media Is a Propaganda That Can Destroy Talent, Thanks To David Mashabela And How He Ask Questions 🙏🙏
Mr Moeletsi Mbeki in 2022 had talked about the Mozambique Government importing heroin from South Asia and selling it in South Africa. Drug trafficking is a huge problem in Mozambique. Nyaope is heroin (highly addictive). I wish men in our communities could mobilise and form resistance groups to clean our communities of drug dealers. Our government is weak.
His book or show can easily be called, Waar was jy? Or roba le theka. Bra Dave, please put him in your directory. Invite him and mention his name in the boardrooms🙏
I am very happy to see Ismael, his life story is very eye opening….. I just wish most of our young people can move away from the distraction by the drugs
It amazing!! I wonder if there's any other country that can do this. We can switch to 4 different languages in one conversation so fluently and still add our township lingos too.
King David o snganga🙌 Thank you for bringing this Legend. What makes a good podcast, is the real self, when a person opens up and is real real. Some try to perfect and they spoil it.
This is such a crazily beautiful show. Mdeva, please work your magic and assist Ish-Mijuju to be a testimony to young and old who are walking the shadow of "Satan". Such a dramatic and animated brother. Bigging him up for cleaning up.
