hes's not wrong about 5th, I have a auto,I thought was a issue with my car but just how they are. But after you get a tune it all goes way.

AFM (Active Fuel Management) would bother me. Easy to disable though.

Honestly i’ve thought about it. We’ll see what happens this summer. But i think as it’s setup now it’s enough. Maybe a winter project.
Second guessing a billet lid now. That whine seems like it'd get obnoxious just cruising around lol

It’s from the roots style supercharger
A8s with the same mods as yours will give you a good run.
With a tune A8s are solid
A8 are gonna fall on its face in 5th, don’t matter if it’s tuned

A8s runs better times but the M7 is no slouch if you can drive.
@@abezo6 The mods makes you feel like 5th is fixed but it’s not. The car is faster but 5th still falls on it’s ass. You need more power to compensate 5th that’s the only bandaid. Man I know for a fact 5th does not hit hard like 2-4th. Since you owned them you can literally hear it fall stock or modded. I’m manually faster than a A8. 10 speeds in the Zl1 are more competition. You own them but don’t work on them, I know more abt your car because I work on them

SERIOUSLY ? Vibration @ low RPM ? dude ! your car is built for higher RPM ! so you used a cam with a mid-high rpm power band and then complain about it not being smooth at low rpm ? Thats the trade off... on ANY car thats built ! how's that worthy of a complaint ? BTW thats also why 7th gear in your car is useless
No, dude. The car wouldn’t vibrate like it does if it didn’t have these solid mounts. I’ve had 4 C7zs i think i’d know. Thanks though.
