Arbroath Lifeboat Launch - 27 March 2019

On a day-off visit to my home town, I was enjoying a quiet lunch at a harbourside restaurant when the pagers of the local lifeboat crew went off. Armed only with my hand-held Sony FDR-X3000 minicam, these few shots reflect the brilliant work by our "always own-call" maritime search and rescue services as they completed another successful shout. There's probably a reason why they did it that way, but why build the slipway heading towards the seawall! Couldn't they have angled it into the channel towards the harbour entrance?
