Johnny was smart but his downfall was his loyalty to the wrong people: Billy and Ashley. Johnny knew where the world was going and was getting his club in the right places. Billy came home and destroyed everything he built in two years in a couple days. And still, Johnny stuck through it for nothing. Only for his name to be cursed by Lost members in San Andreas because he got hooked on drugs chasing a woman who didn't love him. Tragic hero Johnny was.

I feel bad for Johnny. Bro was taking the club to become something legit and even made peace with their enemies, but Billy’s gaslighting, lying, narcissistic, and cynical ass ruined everything and fooled everyone because “the leader is always right” mentality.

Plot Twist: Billy knew it was Niko who killed Jason but didn't want no smoke so he starts a war with AoD
A war that Johnny didn't want to happen when he was Lost MC's acting president.
That's pretty much what happens here, only that Billy wanted to blame the deadbeats to steal their coke
Also, at this point, Niko was being watched/guarded very closely by the IAA. So, it's likely any move of reprisal made against him by some two bit biker gang would have been met with some really stiff resistance.
Or maybe Dimitri Told Billy that it was misinformation after Mikahils Death

Don't understand why people didn't like Johnny. He was one of the only morally conscious protagonist along with franklin and Louis. Johnny didn't want a war with the AoD. His only issue was being too worried about the consequences of Billy's action. If billy wanted a war, let him have it. It's stupid but it was never johnnys responsibility.

Johnny shooting a grenade into the AoD clubhouse reminds me of something irl, now... when was that incident where Hell's Angels did the same thing to the Bandidos
Reminds me of GTA 3 when you had to do that to do that to flush somebody out of their safehouse so you could chase them.
You know. The fans may call Brian an idiot and a stupid boy or any insulting remarks..., but he was the only one who understood Billy’s ‘physics lesson’, despite Billy telling him to ‘shut up’ as usual.
Also, what’s interesting is that Centrifigual Inertia, in actual Physics, means moving on a specific rotational path, like a moon or planet, and that the rotation movement will not stop until another force acts upon it.
So Billy’s words in that scene in the Angel of Death’s clubhouse, says that ‘the quicker your wheels go, the more stable you are,’ meaning as they move out from a certain center point, for example an area of a steet, on their bikes, they will never get or be stopped.
‘The faster we go, the harder we hit it, the more of us brothers pull together’ means that if they apply more acceleration, then they can be strong enough like an impenitrable wall, which is unstoppable and very powerful that no one can stop. And including the rest of their brothers, a strong, powerful army is formed to attack its enemies.
And lastly, ‘That’s why we do what we do. That’s how we do what we do. Why, how - they’re the same &&$;/&@ thing’ refers to their actions as a ruthless, biker gang of Liberty City.
All-in-all, what Billy was trying to tell Johnny is that the Lost MC is very, very powerful, and no one can beat them and no one can stop them.
Yet sadly, Johnny didn’t get any of this. 😔

Pretty sure the point of scene was that Billy was intentionally lying in order to get Johnny and the rest of the Lost railed up against the Angels. In a previous cutscene he correctly said Jason’s killer was Eastern European, which means he gaslighted Johnny in this cutscene.

There is no official back story. It's all in the subtext, man. Think about it. Brian's an insufferable, obnoxious kiss-ass fanatically loyal to Billy.
So much so, that even Billy can't stand his ass sometimes. His biggest fan and he keeps having to tell him to settle down and shut up. That's how annoying as hell he is.
So, imagine what he was probably like when Billy *wasn't* around, stuck in rehab, and Johnny was the one leading the club and trying to do things differently. I can guarantee Brian was there constantly second-guessing Johnny, undermining his leadership, comparing him unfavorably to Billy, and generally being a trollish prick. That's why Johnny rags on him so much.
