I felt as if I was cheating. With zero effort, you get to enjoy breathtaking views of Kanchenjunga, as well as a huge mountainscape on either side of it ! It's the world's 3rd tallest mountain (after Everest and K2).
To get a good view of either Everest or K2, you'll have to put in a lot of effort, but not here !
Much enjoyed where I was staying too, Mochilero Ostello. Plus we visit the town and the Monastery at the very top 😎

I could've stayed here for days ! The Guesthouse and views are perfect 💯 There were 4 Indian travelers working remotely from this spot, a brilliant idea 💡
I am an Indian and I rarely see anybody going to the Northeast... I have never seen Northeast myself, so thank you very much for showing us and yes be safe !!
It was my pleasure to visit, and of course to share with you all ! Thanks for watching, I hope you get to visit yourself one day !
Many foreign tourist prefer to visit places like delhi, agra , jaipur, mumbai but you have selected different parts of india which good 👍.
Explore thoroughly Northeastern part of india 🇮🇳 . My favorite place.
After exploring northeastern part of india plz visit southern part of india.
❤
Northeast was such a lovely experience ! Nagaland, Assam, Meghalaya, I hope you've seen some of my other vlogs from this area ! Also, I still can't believe my eyes from the beauty of Ladakh ! I've been to Southern India back in 2016, equally amazing and yet completely different !
Pleasant surprise, a soft spoken person, Raman happens to be an Indian name as well, nice coincidence
Thanks so much for your comment 🙏. I know my name is Indian as well, lucky 🥳
@@SincerelyRaman could you please list the make and model of your riding helmet, jacket, gloves, please? I want to ride motorcycle in india and would need the best protection because I am kind of a newbie
My helmet was a Vega. But honestly, comparing it to others like Studds and other brands, it seems like they are all made in the same factory, they are identical ! Same for gloves and other accessories. Just ask for (and look for) safety tested and approved helmet and the store will show you those. I didn't have a proper riding jacket, it was just a hiking jacket. So I bought knee and elbow guards. They can be as little as 600 Rupees for a set. Of course you can get top performance protection from head to toe if you wish, it will cost a lot more though
In this vlog I have seen you eating with your hands, you made a perfect cone of your chapati and took a perfect bite which so many other foreigners struggle to do that, 👏 Bravo
Woohoo ! I did it 😄. Thanks 🙂
Brother, you are so soft spoken
Is it OK ? Or not ok ? 😮
@@SincerelyRaman It's soo soothing.
🙏
Thankyou For Coming To Sikkim
Lot's of Love ❤
Come Again Visit Another Places Also!
Thanks for watching ! I visited several places in Northeast, but couldn't spend too much time in each place. Too much to discover 😊
Sikkimese are the finest people I have ever come across.. I visited West, South, North Sikkim way back in 2009, 2010..What a little gem of a state!!
Glad you enjoyed it too ! I hope everyone has a chance to visit 🙂
Very pleasant person and video, thank you sir!
Thanks again for watching 🙏
India's first glass bridge ❤️🤩👍👍👌
Thanks again for the comment !
Dont forget to cover the silk route, do check North Sikkim too.
Thanks for the tips ! Sadly, north Sikkim is not possible for foreigners, not even with a permit and a guide 😭
@@SincerelyRaman yeah thats the India-Chinese border is, heavy deployment from both sides. Not safe may be thats why they are not giving u permit, u can also try a place called Nathu La, its another Indo-Chinese border or try Darjeeling.
Love your videos sir, super 👌I'm from sikkim !! Lovely discription!! Thankyou to promoting our sikkim !! 💐

The paneer tastes just like cheese! Btw, the water looks blue to me eh?! 😀
Paneeeeer ! Yum 🙂

The "construction areas" are not necessarily greenfield construction areas always. Himalayan mountains ranges, unlike the Rocky and the Alps, are a realtively young and active ( implying still growing in height, gradually over millions of years) mountain range mostly consisting of softer alluvial soil, where hell lot of seismic activities take place and low intensity landslide remain a year round phenomenon that gets further aggravated during the rainy season (monsoon in India that lasts between May-June upto September-October) with residual effect carrying onto the winter that follows the rainy season.
Hence while many new roads are being constructed in the Himalayas to connect remote localities with rest of India for better livelihood of people living there and to stoke tourism related economic activities as well as for improvement of connectivity with militico-strategically important border areas between India and China, maintenance of well paved existing roads remains troublesome proposition as it requires year along diversion of funds, equipment and human resources and continues to pose threat to lives of the human resources. A good paved part of the himalayan road you ride along today might tomorrow get heaved with sludge and mud or might get completely ruined with massive boulders falling onto it from a height off the cliff with tremendous momentum and workers and earth moving equipment, bulldozers etc have to be deployed to clean up the mess and sometimes completely repave effected parts of the road to open it again for public and plying vehicles.
Wow ! Detailed info 🙏
Music is so cool❤
Thanks so much ! Glad you liked it. Sometimes it takes so much time to find good music 🙈
8:16 cherry blossom 🌸 tree in India oo it's my dream no Bor it's real
It is a really nice time to ride though this beautiful part of India 😍
Please come to Shillong too
🤞👍🙏
democracy of india is beautiful, people are helpless .
🇮🇳
All the North-eastern part of India are beautiful do Visit Manipur and visit Loktak lake the largest freshwater lake in Asia
Thanks for the tips ! Everywhere here has been so nice and the people too 🧡
Mountain View clear see from tiger hill
Amazing view of the 3rd highest point on earth. Unreal !
What type of road is this India of course
I'm not sure if you are asking a question ??!
It is shameful to see our indian moviemakers will go to foreign countries for shootings none shooted in north east where as a foreigner is coming to northeast to show us northeast which is very beautiful, love from andhrapradesh, india
India has everything ! Don't need to go anywhere else to shoot a movie set 😎
Our movie maker go Italy... Venice... which have no comparisons to these states..
Agreed !
Hey raman nice to c ur coverage on sikkim.wud like to see 10 15 more videos of sikkim, exploring as much as u can as it doesnt seem to be enuf.thanks.btw being an indian m curious what raman means in ur language
Thanks for watching ! I wish I had enough time to explore all parts of India in detail, but I think I would have to live to 500 years to do that 😊. I'm an Assyrain and in Assyrian language Raman means a person who is elevated and someone you would look up to 😊
@@SincerelyRaman apologies for not responding swiftly but i love ur videos specially as a biker.was watching leh manali last night too.makes me feel as if im travelling along everywhere u going.thanks for ur efforts.and abt ur roots i searched on google to find out and im tempted to wonder whether syria also derived its name from assyria
Glad you enjoy the biker videos. The riding around India is unreal ! I hope people will watch and want to do it themselves 🤞
Sure!and i want u to cover tibet(lhasa) from china one day.ur 1 hell of an explorer im sure u will think of that😀
Thanks so much ! I do have an endless appetite for exploring. I just need infinite time and money to pay for it 😄
How are Indian roads?
Actually, they are GREAT ! I was really surprised. It's just certain areas that have bad roads. Usually because they are prone to landslides, or they are just far away and less populated so it's difficult to prioritize improving them. But I rode thousands of kilometers in India with fantastic paved roads 🥳
Please share bike model so we can try it as well
This is a 2018 Royal Enfield Himalayan. See the first video about it here : ua-cam.com/video/we8A2B-Iqf8/v-deo.html I LOVE this bike. Amazing balance between on road and off road, comfort, fuel consumption, sounds. And it looks super cool too !
@@SincerelyRaman quite a heavy bike for a new learner, any suggestions for a really light motorcycle?
@@climbeverest if you want a capable off road bike, unfortunately they will not be super light. A great alternative that is a lighter bike is the Hero xpulse 200. Check it out
the problem is we can build too much on himalayas as it is very unstable
soo rapit development in himalayas can cause disaster
but we will slowly develop it
I feel exactly the same way. I saw a LOT of road work underway. But India is just SO BIG !
@@SincerelyRaman we tried to build tunnel and highway in lower Himalaya in Uttarakhand state but because of that now entire town of josimath is sinking all the homes are breaking down with crackers and landslides so it is very dangerous to Develop or build infrastructure on Himalayan region cause of dynamic tectonic nature of Himalaya.
Understandable ! We can't complete with mother nature, especially though around Himalayas !!!
Didnt you go Mizoram??
Not yet, but of course I would like to. It will have to be another trip though 🤞
18:44 its me😅😅
Wait, is this Rubina ??
@@SincerelyRaman No, the guy in the black tee😅
@@sentamilselvan7034 oh, hey 👋 greetings ! I thought the name didn't seem for a gal. But then many people use all kinds of names on UA-cam 😄
Ya p bhiyari nhi phuncha tbi ya clean ha
Sikkim me bhi reels wale poch gaye bhai
Road condition is will be better before your next visit bcz Modi goverment first time Win election there recently so defenetly all work will be perfect in next 6 months .
Right ! I saw a LOT of improvement work on going !
Do you have Armenian ancestry?
I haven't researched deeply my ancestry. Both parents are Assyrian, their parents Assyrian, and so on. That's all I know
Try not to put any random music in video. It's very stereotype.
It is so hard to find good music 😄. But how about how sweet that family was that was running the guesthouse 😍
Come on dude, please stop with this foreigner in India title, make it more genuine!
Thanks for your comment ! Honestly, it is just something we have to do sometimes that we don't like, but for people to discover us. And according to UA-cam analytics, that's one thing Indians are searching for 🙈🤷♂️
@@SincerelyRaman u r doing nothing wrong without this title i wouldn't have discovered u 👍
