Some questions for the fandom: 1) What is your favorite scene in Good Omens, and more importantly, why is it your favorite scene? 2) Do you read Good Omens fan fiction? If so, what is your favorite fan fiction? I am posting this comment to a few Good Omens videos to get as many responses as possible, so you might see it again if you are like me out there binging ALL the ineffable videos. :)
Hi! I know you wrote this 4 months ago but better late than never lol! 1) My favourite scene is probably the 1941 era when Crowley comes to the church and saves Aziraphale and his books. I love this scene because it really shows how much Crowley cares for him and how far he would go to keep him safe (along with his books lol)! I thought it was a really sweet scene that advances Crowley and Aziraphales relationship! 2) I do read a lot of fan fiction (usually on Wattpad or Ao3) and I usually enjoy one shots with multiple different scenarios and there was one where it was a Beauty and the Beast retelling but with Crowley as a snake beast and Aziraphale in the role of Belle! I think it was called The Rose and the Serpent by Atalan. I thought it was great lol! There was also one more where Crowley and Aziraphale were both humans and Aziraphale saves Crowley from a fire but I forgot the name of it, I think it was also on Ao3. I hope more people start responding I think you asking these questions and getting people to answer is an amazing idea! It can really bring the GO fandom together ❤️! Also if you want to answer, how about you? What is your favourite scene along with fanfic if you read them? 😊
@@Aves9 Hi! Thank you for answering. I love Beauty & the Beast retellings, so I'll have to check that fanfic out. As for my answers, they kind of changed after Season Two: 1. My favorite scene is from Season 2 Episode 2. When Crowley sets Job's house ablaze, Aziraphale tells the children they are perfectly safe. Then Crowley tests him, "Are you sure?" My boy Aziraphale doesn't waver. He steps up and tells Crowley confidently "Yes. Quite sure!" He doesn't back down from his belief in Crowley; he doesn't give an inch. I think that's beautiful. It shows Crowley just how highly Aziraphale truly thinks of him, and Crowley's actions show just how deserved it is. For me, best moment of the whole series, hands down. 2. My favorite fan fiction is one of those "Aziraphale and Crowley through the ages" sort of things. The fanfic is "Long is the Way, and Hard" by Kate Lear, read by Podfixx. Just about anything that Podfixx chooses to read though is awesome. It is on AO3. Here is the link for interested listeners: archiveofourown.org/works/20017855 Let me know what you think of it if you end up checking it out!
@@kellycl9733 Let me know what you think if you read it, I loved it lol! Thank you for recommending that on AO3, I am definitely going to check it out thank you!!! I love that scene as well, it really shows how much Aziraphale trusts and believes in Crowley! It is super sweet 😊! I can’t wait to see what season 3 will have in store for them lol! Have a great day or night and I hope you enjoy the fanfic! Ps.I will definitely let you know what I think I am sure I am going to love it lol (I love anything involving Good Omens 🤣)
After the ending of season 2, I came back to this edit. It's just as good as I saw it four years ago, and I think it fits Crowley even better now. This is still brilliant and so so precious to me.
Crowley has the faith of A true angel... He has faith in god not in the Great plan.. He has faith in aziraphale more than the other angels..it is like he didn't even fall.. Just changed his appearance.. ♥️
My theory is that God needed the abilities of both an Angel and a Demon to thwart Armageddon. So she chose 2 Angels with imagination for the job and turned the more flexible of the 2 into a Demon. Crowley isn't a Demon because he's bad in the same way that Judas isn't bad, it's just that God needed a job done and they were the best suited for it. Hard on the individual but for the greater good.
@@reya8601I mean God is GOD so I don't know that the greater good vs the individual is applicable when she could have just NOT had an Armageddon in her plan... Or even gone "psst, Crowley so sorry buddy you're actually undercover against your will for Reasons so don't punish yourself for eternity over fucking up, Kay?" He'd still be bitter, but at least a little less tormented. But I also grew up Atheist/Agnostic where that's also the cultural norm, so I think there's a lot of unspoken rules and rationale about how God works that in at least slightly religious communities you learn and take with you - and most of the people that make media in the west also had that upbringing, so there will be things you're meant to know watching media inspired by the abrahamic religions that I'm lacking. 😅
This proves that Crowley isn't like the other demons. He cares about Aziraphale lots and would do anything to save him. "You can't kill kids" both of there faces in that moment. He still talks to God. Most demons wouldn't do this. Love Crowley with all my demon heart. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 ❤❤❤❤❤

THIS. THIS. This is one of my favourite songs Ever, but I had never thought of it as a Crowley song, but bloody hell it is. You chose perfect scenes for the lines, they all fit so freaking well. That "that's me in the corner, that's me in the spotlight, losing my religion" just hit me So close. And scenes with Aziraphale with "I thought I heard you laughing / I thought that I heard you sing" and then "I think I saw you try" to "that was just a dream" and The bandstand scene! I just. I'm dying here, this is the best Crowley video. Thank you so much for making it.
I had never watched the TV series of Good omens as I loved the novel and have a similar opinion on books to Aziraphale, I rarely watch the TV adaptations. However my sister recommended it so I looked at a few videos. You got Crowley's character just perfect in this video and when I watched it I knew how much I would like him. It was your video that persuaded me to finally watch the series and I LOVE IT! Thank you so much for such an amazing video, it remains one of my favorite Crowley tributes on youtube.
I'm so glad! I loved the book so much and was so pleasantly surprised by the adaptation, I'm really happy that this tribute could show how well Tennent got Crowley. Thank you for watching and for your nice comment!

It makes the hanging on a tad easier.
Oh, oh goodness - This song fits Crowley so perfectly. And it hurts so much, but I've got the urge to just watch it a million times over. Phenomenal job, my friend!

I'm watching this again and hm I MAY have watched it more times than I can count and this just destroys me in the best way and is officially Crowley's Song to me and I think of the show everytime it comes up in my playlist. I have wayyy too many feels and I love it.
Wow. I am so into this book/TV show/story right now, mostly for it’s irreverent approach to religion and its humor. But layering this song over Crowley adds such weight. I played this song to my mom when I left god. She cried. No wonder I love this story. Crowley and Aziraphale were both better off without dogma. “We’re on OUR side!”
I've been watching a lot of these Good Omens music videos recently, and this is the only one that's made me cry. It just hits so deep into who both Crowley and Aziraphael are (in different ways, of course), and though I'd thought about it before, I'd never truly felt it. Good job
Okay this is AMAZING. This is a great song for Crowley and the editing is PHENOMENAL holy shit, the scenes you matched up to music, the audio clips - fucking hell. This is amazing.
three months late!! but thank you v much. yt has been hiding these from me. for the songs i'd switch from Queen to R.E.M. they are as follows: 1. Bohemian Rhapsody --> The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite, for Crowley's entrance 2. These Are The Days Of Our Lives --> Radio Song, when Crowley&Aziraphale are driving 3. Bicycle Race --> Bad Day, when they hit Anathema 4. You're My Best Friend --> Losing My Religion, when Crowley arrives at the burning bookshop 5. Somebody to Love --> Everybody Hurts, leaving the bookshop 6. Another One Bites The Dust --> Drive, when Crowley is stuck in traffic 7. I'm In Love With My Car --> The Great Beyond, the M25 8. We Will Rock You --> It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine) for Crowley's airbase entrance.

Of course "Somebody to Love" then gets replaced with "Everybody Hurts" 6. "Another One Bites the Dust" sure is fun for a Crowley stuck in traffic but I'd argue "Drive" in my R.E.M.-verse. 7. "I’m In Love with My Car" is, like Bicycle Race, almost impossible to best but what about "The Great Beyond"? Will power and imagination? 8. "We Will Rock You" as Crowley arrives has to become "It’s The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)" because I can't just not play it.
