Absolutely loved this video! It's exciting to see the top countries for digital nomads in 2023. The detailed info on visas for freelancers and remote workers is truly helpful. Can't wait to start planning my next workcation! 🌍✈💼
Unfortunately as a US citizens you are taxed on your global earnings. This is also the same for UK citizens as well. Brst to setup your own company and then you can reduce you taxes. The key thing will be deducting travel, Internet, living costs because you are working whilst traveling. Make sure to do DD on double taxation treaties to ensure u do not get taxed twice.
Most of us come from countries that allow us to travel to many countries without needing a visa. Applying for a digital nomad visa just puts you on someone's radar that you really don't need or want. Just get a free tourist visa at the border when you arrive and do what you want. Been working as a digital nomad for 1.5 years across three countries in Latin America: Colombia, Mexico and Dominican Republic.
@@sia_ibk True. But there are a lot of countries with big limits. Just hop back and forth. I stayed in Colombia for 6 months last year, and Mexico for the other 6 months. This year, I started in Colombia for three months, and since then, I've been in the Dominican Republic. All free tourist visas on a Canadian passport.
Things I would question when moving as a DN. What is cost of living like? Do people have good English? How is the weather? What is the tax? Is it well connected? As a single person(are the women hot?) I'm an EU citizen and Portugal seems to tick all the boxes, bar the final one.
It doesn't make any sense. If the clients can hire you and you can work from anywhere, then I would go back to India (my own country) and live there woking as freelance. But would the clients hire me if I say I will be located in India? Though taxes in India are higher compared to the countries you are mentioning, it is much easier as cost of living can be controlled.

I don’t think vitalii is arguing they aren’t great countries in their own right. They’re arguing the amount “necessary”. Perhaps aside from the working remotely aspect of being a dig nomad, shouldn’t it Also be economical and / or lower one’s cost of living?

Take me with you?
I wished to hear something related to Portugal 🇵🇹!
Hi! Malaysia also provide Digital Nomad Visa
They sure do! I made a video about it
What all these countries are saying is that earn from other countries and pay taxes here locally.
Argentina? Is súper cheap and you can leave pretty well even better than Brazil

Loved living in Taiwan ❤ the issue with them is no true path to citizenship 😢
If you have such Visa in one from the EU countries, can you go to other EU countries for limited period of time, or you can't at all?
It depends country by country but you can travel freely as long as that country is a part of the EU. Is that what you’re asking?
I wanted to ask the same question, because I wish to stay in Italy but no digital nomad visa available there
Hi,
What about turkey?
I’ve been to Turkey it’s a beautiful country. I’ll look into it ✌️

I don't think tourist visas allow you stay for extended periods like a digital nomad visa permits.

This is exactly the questions that I ask myself, what countries did you find that ticked all of these?

Well, they aren't 100% tax free
I love the nomad joke. LOL

Yes, some clients will hire you regardless of where you live.
Free public healthcare in Brazil for remote workers is not a bonus. You want to stay as far away from a public hospital as you can.
Yes we all know what the heck HRK is. Why would you not convert the currencies and rates to usd?? 👎
You do know the currency values change? You can Google and find the rates

And the HRK does not exist anymore. It has replaced by the Euro in 2023.
Seriously... who need Romania or Greece with income 3000EUR?
What do you mean? They are good countries.

I think so. Go to my playlist and check out the other locations
For Europe? Bulgaria. Otherwise, check countries in South America and Asia.
