My best friend love this game and it was what got him into Spider Man and also the games. I remember him bringing it into school and we were impressed of how it played. I did a Longplay of the Nintendo 64 version recently as a direct response to Phil's poor performance. I can safely say that I didn't die once and had no-where near as many issues as DSP did here. There are some Technical issues with the recording itself, but otherwise it's a much better experience.
and i still love and care for X-MEN LEGENDS 1 and 2 infinite times than most super Heroes games out there.. but with No Horrid Pigs playing them of course HA
From what I understand about the PlayStation version, the bug during Venom's chase doesn't run on an original PlayStation so obviously this glitch comes from emulating the game even on other PlayStation consoles. Also this section is way worse on the PC version because it moves so much faster than the PS1 version that by the time the timing comes to automatically swing, Spider-man has already fallen to his death.
I could have sworn I had seen that glitch on real Hardware, I think it was from a speedrun of the game that it happened and yes I heard the PC version was a Nightmare, there was a review of the game and the dude played the PC version, oh that was fun haha
I actually enjoyed watching this cause unlike those people over at the sons of Kojima channel you actually stop talking so that we can hear what Phil says and hear the game
